Lanier LD225 copier with a error code 541

SP 5-810, press 1 hold down OK and original type key at same time to reset. -Carl

You have a Fuser Temperature warm-up error, Hot roller warm-up error.
Verify the heater lamps, thermistor and thermofuse continuity.
Enter in the SP mode, turn OFF the main switch, unplug the machine, wait 10 seconds,
plug in and turn ON the copier.
If you need to reset the fuser, Enter SP 5-810 (SC code reset) and
select "1". Then simultaneously press the Original Type key and the OK (or
R/#) key. (There is no need to turn the main switch off and on.).

sc 541 is a fuser error. you have to reset the code. here are the steps to follow.
press clear mode button once, clear mode button is the yellow one
press 107
press and hold clear/stop red button until you see the screen changes to copy sp mode written.
press copy sp on the screen and off and on the machine
it should reset the code.

press clear/stop and hold it untill your screen changes to copy sp mode.
press copy sp on screen

Press Clear/Modes, then 107, then press AND HOLD Clear/Stop
This will get you into the service mode screen.
Know what you are doing before going into any modes and changing anything.

this is an error for the fuser the thermistors have not registered the temps properly check the fuser and if you know how to take it apart clean the thermistors.. you could try an sc reset using the following proceedure...Yellow clear button then 107 then hold down the stop button..wait for the screen to change to show copier sp turn off the machine and wait 5 secs then turn off. If this doesnt reset do the same proceedure on the copier sp enter this then look for mode 5. enter this mode and look for 810 sc reset and set this then turn off wait and turn back on....if this error occurs regularly the thermistors will have to be changed.. hope this helps..A

The problem in the fuser unit.Check and clean the rollers ,thermistors,thermofuses.

Hello sir; Just follow my direction, it will reset your machine;
1, press "clear mode", "107", then press and hold down "clear/stop" key.
2, touch "copier SP" on the screen.
3, enter "5810-001" press enter.
4, set value to 0, then turn power off and back on again.

Troubleshooting tips:
Enter SP Mode by holding down "up" and "down" arrow for 10 s then you press "enter"

Take the fuser out and clean under the thermistors, and reset the code by entering test mode ( turn off printer hold down online and escape as you turn on printer selece 2 engine go to sp5-810 and reset this.
