How do I re-install Windows

You should have recieved a "Factory Reset CD" with your laptop or desktop. Insert the CD, Turn off your computer and press F9 and select boot from CD. You would do the same if it was a straight Windows Operating System CD\DVD also. "Good Luck".

How to reset to factory settings like the day it came out of the factory?

Sometimes laptops are supplied with CD/DVD discs which perform this task when inserted in the CD/DVDROM drive and rebooted. If you don't have these then the closest you can get to a full factory system reset is by using the Windows System Restore feature. When you run this obviously choose the earliest system restore point. The third way will require you to obtain a windows operating system disk for your licensed OS, plus you will have to download the motherboard drivers from the laptop manufacturer website, installing these after running the OS disk from boot. To reset laptop password, you can try the following steps,

Step1.Download Smartkey WindowsPassword Recovery from recoverlostpassword.com anddecompress it on that PC. There is a .ISO file. Burn the .ISO file to CD or USBFlash Driver.Step2.Get out the newly created CDor USB Flash Driver and insert it to the locked computer.Step3. Re-boot the locked computerand then follow the process of instructions. Just after a few steps, the oldpassword will be removed.It can recover all Windows version.

I forgot windows password, i usually reset windows password by the following steps,

Factory reset

I think with acer u can use their erecovery management within windows /start/programs/Acer Recovery management/

or you can use the Alt+F10 or F11 at the start up some models vary and that hopefully should prompt u to reset the pc to factory settings, remember to back up you data, you might struggle with some drivers, and make sure you reinstall the security software that you prefer as soon as you are able to connect online. good luck hope this helps

To reset your laptop into factory default settings you need a installer CD with the Toshiba, Mostly that CD is coming with your Laptop during the time you purchase your laptop. if you have that CD just insert the Cd into DVD or CD drive of your laptop and Press hold F12 and boot from DVD ROM and follow the next instruction and thats it your ALptop is restored into his original Setting which is fatory settings.

How do i reset my dell latitude d620 to factory settings

Resetting a Dell Latitude to the factory settings allows the user to restore the Dell Latitude to the original operating condition as if it was just taken out of the box. Dell system includes a restore utility called 'Dell Symantec System Restore' to reset or restore your Dell system to factory setting.

Step 1: Before reset any Dell Inspiron laptop, backup your all important data and programs, otherwise you may lose it. It is recommended to use an external storage device for your entire data backup, so that you couldn't lose it in any sudden occurring issue...

Step 2: Remove any other unnecessary external drive and restart your Dell Inspiron laptop.

Step 3: Press 'F8' key continue until 'Advanced Boot Options' wouldn't be appear.

Step 4: Use your keyboard arrow key to select 'Repair Your Computer' from the list and hit 'Enter'.

Step 5: Now click 'Next' and login as the administrator account.

Step 6: Click 'Dell Factory Image Recovery and Data Safe options', select your language option and click 'Next'.

Step 7: Click the check box 'Yes, reformat hard drive and restore system software to factory condition' and click 'Next' to start Dell Latitude reset process...

This process will erase all your previous changes that have been made to the Dell Latitude laptop and reset the configuration settings to factory setting.

How do i bypass the parking brake switch in order for my video to play

1. FACTORY RESET METHOD (Temporary)
(This isn't the most effective, but it is the easiest to try, so it's worth a shot since it apparently works on some units.)
** Go to the Menu
** Get to the Settings Menu
** Select <yes> to Reset to Factory Settings.

2. AUDIO CD METHOD (Permanent)
** Insert Audio CD
** Press PLAY
** Press STOP twice on remote
** Enter 26604 on remote
** Press ENTER
** Take out Audio CD and Insert a DVD
