I have bought a Samsung Omnia from a friend and it was supplied by vodafone. I have used my Orange Sim Card in the phone and it will make calls and send basic texts without problem. I have had Orange send me the download information for getting onto the Web using my Orange Simcard but the Pre loaded Vodafone settings seem to be stopping this from happening. Can I remove this without affecting the rest of my phone ?
The software installed by voda may be blocking orange.
Borrow a voda sim and set up your settings then try again.

I also have this problem, its quite annoying as the bottom right hand touch sensitive key is 'Live' and I cant get onto there anyway. On other phones it is Menu whereas I have to press the side button to bring menu up. I have been sent the Orange internet setting but the internet goes thru Vodafone as default so it cannot connect.
All i want to do is delete anything Vodafone related so that I can have a 'unlocked' phone or so that I can install Orange software.

i have virgin sim card on my vodaphone i900 and i can not acces the web.
It start searching the virgin site than before loading the site it gives me a message - network time out .
