How large a group? Vehicle-supported or remote camping?

For car-camping I like the good old green Colman stoves. Robust and work well in all conditions. More people, add more stoves. Some people say propane is easier to use, and it may be if you can carry the cylinders.

Remote, then go with white-gas stoves, of which there are many designers. MSR is one of many good manufacturers.

SOURCE: Does anyone have a recommendation for a good camping stove?

I have an MSR Pocket Rocket Stove and I absolutely love it. I've had it for ten years and it has never faltered.

I'm looking for a water tank that we can use when we go camping. Any suggestions?

Yes - take a look at the Camping Bug site for a good range of water tanks. It really depends what you exact needs are; do you camp for a long time? are you a large group? do you camp in remote areas?
you can probably send them a question and they will advise you.

What should I look for when buying a camping stove?

When buying a camping stove, you should look for two things:
  • How well the stove performs- mainly the amount of time it takes to boil water. Good performance would be somewhere between 3 and 5 minutes.
  • How efficient the stove is- how long it will be able to cook for. Last thing you want is a camping stove that will stop cooking before your meal is ready.

A large group of friends are going camping. Where can I get a big tent?

Amazon sell tents that fit between 8 and 12 people. http://www.amazon.com/Family-Tents-perfect-backyard-camping/lm/2DOAN9S14UDJ7 . I think if you are a bigger group than that, you might need more than one tent.
