The usb cable not detected with the computor

If you mean the USB cable, You should look to the little connector in the camera. My guess, (I can'r find a manual) this is a normal mini USB connector. These cables are very cheap in every computer shop or camera shop. Just take your camera with you when you visit a shop and ask for the cable. Perhaps you already have one, for instance one that came with a (smart) phone or a card reader.

Connect the Phone to PC using USB cable. Set the USB mode to Mass storage mode when prompted. Thereafter you can use your device as a ordinary flash drive.

Does your camera have a USB port if so connect cable to computor & switch on camera your computor should recognize a new hardware device and a pop up box will appear giving you the option ofimporting your pictures.Or take memory card out of camera & plug into a card reader then into usb port on computor,If you are using windows click on my computor & click on icon for the memory card & choose copy.

Common problem with this model of Hitachi. Get a repair kit from TvRepairKits.com . Its a problem with a fuse and a capacitor that cause the issue I am told.

The software that came with the unit has to be loaded onto the computor in order to see the attached device.

it is the problem with usb data cable or with ur phone point which we connect the datacable. when u find this problem expand the cable for a max. distance from the pc when u connect both of it.

try to boot to safe mode, and see if it is detected. If it is detected in safe mode. Uninstall and reinstall any drivers that came with your external hdd. If still no go, reinstall windows. If after reinstalling windows, still not detected, replace external hdd.

if you have software that came with the camera use that along with the usb cable; you should check the cdrom that came with it for one, if not if you use windows movie maker 2 you can import the dvd to your pc then transcode it to a dvd using a third party software like Nero or similair
