Hope this helps.
Hi,
Don't worry it is possible to restore erased Nikon Coolpix camera pictures from the memory card using a Photo Recovery software. When I accidentally deleted all photos in my Nikon Coolpix s3300 camera, I was able to perform accidentally deleted picture recovery from nikon coolpix s3300 by using this tool. You can download demo tool initially, which provides an option to preview the recovered pictures.
Yes, you still have chance to retrieve the lost pictures from your Nikon S9100 Coolpix digital camera. Read this article to learn more: http://www.nikon-photo-recovery.com/ Best wishes!
In my opinion, the good method to retrieve pictures is use some picutre recovery software.
I also came accross such tings last week, my little brother played my Samsung mobile phone, and he deleted all the photo in my sd card by accident, at that time , I had no idea what to do that I go to the mobile phone data recovery service asked for help. The staff adopted a recovery software, and few easy steps, all the picutres deleted came back.
I learn how to recover data from the experience of sd card recovery, I hope my experience can help you.

All digital camers has a memory storage (like a hard drive) you ust wipe this clean. if this is not covered in your operators book you may have to send it in. most camers are set to 5000 or more. If this is not the cast you have a problem in you memory board.

If you format, you will lose everything...format means erase and optimize. Take your card to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture maker machine. It will usually read all the pics on a card and you can make a cd of them on the machine.

ok I figured out how to do it! put the memory card into the camera, then go to view the pictures. Then press the menu button and scroll until you see the copy button. Then you will see the option to copy from camera to card, or card to camera. Press the option to copy from camera to card and press select all....(or whichever pictures you want copied...I wanted all pictures copied). Then voila! it takes a few seconds to copy from the camera to the card, and there you have it! :)

Well, deleted pictures can be retrieved as long as you take the right steps.
First things first - stop taking more photos (or videos) using the same camera (memory card) in case you may quite possibly ruin the chances of recovery.
Then connect the camera (memory card) to your computer which has installed a data recovery software. Check this site Digital Camera Recovery for several tested and nice programs working under Both Windows and Mac OS X.
Hope it helps, best regards!
