Why can't I open it ?

Click on the Start button, and go to where you click on this program.



Right-Click on YearPlanner, and choose Properties ( at the bottom).



A window opens, and at the top of that window, the third tab from the left is \'Compatibility Mode\'. Click on this tab.



You can try the \'Help me choose the settings\'

or

just check the Compatibility Mode box (i.e. click on the box).

then click on the down arrow at the far-right of the rectangle box that probably says Windows Server 2008.



You will get a list where you can choose \'Windows XP\'.



Go to the bottom right and choose APPLY,

then click OK.



You should be good to go.



Another trick to get a window to maximize is to Right-Click the program in the task bar, and then click on the program from there.

print shop 3.0 is compatible with XP SP3 vista SP2 and windows 7. to install it correctly you must be logged in as administrator or right click the installation setup and choose Run As Administrator. if you dont do that it doesnt install correctly if you are trying to use it on any other windows system it wont work. print shop 4.0 is compatible with W8 or W10. once installed you may also have to Open the program using Run As Administrator too.

You should navigate to the setup file on the disc, right click, select 'Properties', choose the 'Compatibility' tab, select the 'Run in compatibility mode for:' checkbox, select 'Windows 98/Windows ME'. Then run the setup program.

Alternatively, you could right click on the setup file and choose the 'Troubleshoot Compatibility' option.

The problem here is that you likely have Windows 7 x64 which has little support for 16 bit programs. You may be able to run your program in Windows Virtual PC (XP mode) if you installed it, but the program will likely run rather slowly.

If the solutions I have provided do not work, then I hate to say this, but you are out of luck.

the printer will need to be installed in compatibility mode....un-install the printer from control panel.
pain in the **** i know, but least you'll know from now on, how to install older programs & drivers in to windows 7....
if your installing from a disk, then put the disk in, then when the auto run box comes up, close it...
open computer instead from the start menu.
right click on the cd drive with the disk in, & select open.
drag & drop the contents of the disk on to your desktop....make a new folder to put it all in, if you need to.
then once it's copied across, right click on the install/application icon.
from the top of the menu click "check compatibility" if you dont see it,click off it & then try right clicking on it again untill you see it.
windows will scan & set itself to the right settings for that program.
then click try recommended settings.....followed by START PROGRAM.
if it all installs ok click next then click YES KEEP THESE SETTING FOR THIS PROGRAM NEXT TIME.
then go to the printers web site & update it with the latest software,thats if windows doesn't do it for you.....TIP:(white flag @ bottom right of screen)
do this with all older software.....windows 7 is **** hot when it comes to running older programs, im using a windows 98 program call photo express on mine...no problem.

One of the best things windows seven has is the full backwards compatibility with windows XP and Vista, to enable compatibility you must set up the installer file compatibility settings to windows xp by right clicking on the installer file and in the menu clicking on properties, browse trough tabs and you'll find the compatibility tab, set the compatibility settings to Windows XP click on apply and then on ok, then double click on the installer as usual, say yes to windows prompt and install the software, once installed try to run it, if the software is not running, browse through your start menu and find the program, right click on the program's shortcut and open the folder where your program is, then right click on the program's file and repeat the compatibility procedure I gave you before...

If you still have doubts about how to accomplish this write me back and we'll find a way to make it work together...

You can right click on the desktop icon for the digital recorder software and in the window that opens click on the "Compatibility"tab. Then check the box "run this program in compatibility mode for" and choose Windows XP (service pack 3). Reboot and then try the program again. All you need to do is download & install Windows XP Mode for Windows 7
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx
Once installed you will be able to run all your favorite old programs , if you run into any compatibility issues , right click on the .exe file & select "properties" , compatibility mode , & select the settings your program is known to work with .

After all this if you still can't run the program , try using " virtualbox " or " vmware virtual machine " & install a copy of windows xp as a virtual machine .

For Windows 7,you need to run the installation in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3. Open the files on the install disk, right click on the "Install_Disney_Pix_2" application, and left click on the compatibility tab. Check the box where it says "Run this program in compatibility mode for", then choose Windows XP SP3. Click OK, then double click on the application again to install the program. If you had already installed the program, you need to uninstall it and restart your computer prior to the install in compatibility mode.

your software is already compatible, just follow these steps:
1. copy the software to you hard driver
2 double-click to open the folder (if it is in a folder)
3 locate this file "setup" and right click on it
4 choose "properties" and go to compatibility tab
5. click the "run this program in conpatibility with" and choose windows xp
6. now install and enjoy!

Step by step instructions for Windows 7 32-bit follow:

Insert the Panasonic CDROM.
Don't use autorun - Cancel autorun popup.
Right click on CDROM drive in "My Computer" and select 'Open'.
Right click on Setup application & choose 'Troubleshoot Compatibility'.
Select 'Troubleshoot program'.
Select "The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run now' & click
the "Next" button.
Select 'Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)' & click the "Next" button.
Click on "Start the program..." button.
Proceed with program installation.
When installation finished cancel out of the 'Program Compatibility' window.

If you have Windows 7 64-bit the instructions are:

Insert the program CDROM.

When installation finished cancel out of the 'Program Compatibility' window.
