If there are two blades that turn in opposite directions, perhaps the blades are reversed. If that is the case then they are pushing the helicopter down instead of up.

If the tail rotates counter clock wise the lower blade is not turning fast enough. Check gears. On mine the gear between the front motor and rotor gear was too low and rounded off the upper edge. The gear pin was not up enough, had to push it up more to get the gears lined up better.

60 qt Hobart mixer H600T makes buzzing noise and won't spin. The hook seems blocked, can't spin it manually. Opened the top part and everything seems fine. What can it be and how to fix it? Thank you

call in an electrician as it may be the start/run capacitor for the motor ( indicated by motor humming but not running)
the gearing will make it very difficult to turn the blades by hand as the motor will be spinning at either 1400 rpms or 2400 rpms down to around 50 rpms for the blades

Metal on metal sound with sparks from riding mower deck

Number one are you sure you replaced the new blades with the right ones. Another thing if you say you have hit something you may have bent one or both shafts.the blades are fastened to. You can check this out by spinning the blades by hand . Please pull the starting key before you put your hand underneath to check it out.

S107G upper blade doesnt rotate, and leans to the side. lower blade spins...but no take off. brand new out the box......sup?

Hi,

Check that the bottom gear/cog is engaging with the motor drive gear. This is a common fault and usually just need to move the cog on the motor.

Kind regards, Julian

Volitation helicopter just spins to the left on ground and will not lift off seems top blades are spinning much faster then bottom

If one blade is spinning faster than another, then the helicopter won't lift off. The first thing to check is the gears driving the blade shafts. It could be that one of the gears is not set properly, or there is something caught near the shaft. Pet hair can often wrap around the shaft and cause drag. If the gears appear to be in the correct positions, and meshing with the pinions (small gears) on the motors, and there is nothing wrapped around the shaft, such as hair, I would slowly increase power and see if both motors start spinning at the same time. If they don't, there could be a problem with the motor, or the controller board. If this is the case, it may be repairable, but might be just as cheap to replace the whole helicopter.
Hope this helps!

My S107g worked great for a week but then the top blade just stopped moving. The lower blade is spinning away and the top one sits there limp. What's going on?

well firstly you still have warranty on it, get them to replace it..

the blades are controlled by a motor and a gear system in the helicopter itself. The gear is broken or the motor is wedged in by the gear. or simply burnt out, You will need to open it to unwedge the gear and if it spins when you turn the gear, you need to replace the motor. Both blades use separate motors that's what allows it to trim (turn) when one set spins faster than the other, It goes straight when both blades spin at the same speed.

Blade stops spinning

It most likely is the gears that are bad. Usually it sounds real bad first and you can hear the grinding gears. Sometimes spindles snap. You might have a hard time buying parts for Craftsman stuff. And often times it might not be worth it. First take the blade and flanges off. Around the spindle there should be screws holding the spindle hub onto the body. Un screw that and take a look inside. (There might be a retaining ring holding that on too)

If you can see broken gears or metal shavings inside, then you'll need new gears. Always replace the two gears that run together as a set. And of course replace the grease so you don't have metal shavings in there.

My bottom blades on my Falcon X Helicopter don't turn. I've looked and it seems the spinning bit connected to the engine (green coloured) is sitting right below the wheel connected to the blades....

Hi,
I think the problem is the green pinion drive gear, either it has already crack on the sides that's why it moves to another position.
You could adjust the green gear by pushing it where the big gear( wheel ) turns. There is a screw at the side of the propeller where you could tighten it to the point it can have a contact with the green gear.
You could buy that green gear in the internet. You don't have to disassemble the whole thing.
Hope that helps you out.

We have a GYROS S107G and when we lift off the hellicopter immediately starts to lose control and the balancing bar seems to hit the upper blades causing it to crash. Also, the side braces which hold the...

The top of the main shaft is probably broken. There are 2 pins that hold the "head" for the main blades straight and are probably sheared off. This is causing the balance bar to hit the blades and cause it to crash. You could try the crash kit here: http://www.helipal.com/spare-part_v-max-parts_syma-s107.html
