All three blades have to be lined up the same way when you put the belt back on.

I have a zero turn Cub Cadet RXT22 50: mower that no longer throws the grass out hard enough to disperse it. it just leaves the grass in clumps.

Either not enough engine speed, grass is too wet or to thick or you need a hi lift blade to cause more wind in deck. This is if deck has not been damaged s.a. inner guides bent or removed.

Cub cadet blowing grass out left side of deck

If you have mowed when the grass was wet or moist you may have a build up of grass under the deck. This is the cause of that type of problem in most cases. Cleaning the build up under the deck allows the grass to flow the way its designed and will also extend the life of the blades. Hope this helps.

Bolt broke off of adapter and blade. I replaced bolt and it broke again. So i replaced the bolt and adapter and now making a loud knocking sound this is on my cub cadet walk behind sc500z

Hi Diana:
I'd suggest that you pull the spark plug lead so it does not accidently start, and then try this.
Place the mower at a height where you can easily see under it. I use the tailgate of my pickup trucl.
If you put the handle inside the bed of the truck you can put a weight on the handle so the deck is tipped up. With the spark plug disconnected (or even removed) rotate the blade. Chances are that the knocking sound will be from the blade hitting the deck. It is possible that the bolts keep breaking because the blade is not seating properly.
I'm guessing that once you can see under the mower you will find the problem.

Hi I need a replacement deck for a 2006 cub cadet rzt mower

just replaced mine. just the stamped metal stripped from the dealer is $350. the pulley bearings are aluminum installed with steel bolts, so you have to either bu new ones ($100 each or snap the bolts and drill and tap each one. it is a labor intensive job, or you can buy one ready to install from dealer for somewhere around $700. try advertising on craigs list for a used one. you may luck out. good luck.

My cub cadet 1042 leaves a stip down the center when mowing. I have new blades put on by the dealer and this seems to be an ongoing problem.

I had the same. design of the deck is not good. grass will build up and insolate (like a donut) the blade from cutting the immediate blades. FIX - replace custom blades with "Gator Blades and the claws will free up the cluster of interferances of grass, kick it out, thus allowing the blade free space to cut the immediates blades of grass.

Hope this helps as it was my last trial of fixes. IT DOES WORK.
