Hi Neerajsahu,

There are 2 things.

You either have a Permanent firewall or you have a proxy. If you know its a permanent firewall then you are pretty much stuck. But if its a proxy server there is a glimmer of hope.

Obviously the following instruction makes alot of assuptions on your network setup.

Assuming you have a proxy server, you could try going to the following place assuming you are using Microsoft's internet explorer.

Go to
Tools>Internet Options>Connections
Click on LAN Settings
Un tick "Use a proxy server for you LAN...."
Make sure you have ticked "Automatically detect settings"
Click OK
Click Apply then OK
and close IE and then Open IE again.

Now try and download the file again. If this still doesn't work then chances are you will need to see your Admin as they have a firewall appliance that checks everything.

IF the "Use a proxy server for you LAN...." was already unticked chances are you won't be able to get around it as you are downloading a file greater than 3Mb and again see your Admin.

If all else fails home and download your file that you need from there.

Hope it helps

J'accede au fb ce message apparait :ERROR The requested URL could not be retrieved

The connection problem may only be temporary. Try again after a few minutes by pressing the "F5" key on your keyboard to re-load your currently viewed page. If the link does not become active after a day or two, I'd suspect it's not going to become active again. It effectively has become a dead-end link (the Internet has lots of them).

Recieving and sending E-mail

The Dell Axim X5 has Microsoft Pocket Outlook pre-installed, so use that instead of MSN Messenger to e-mail. MSN Messenger is just meant for instant messaging.
You can fill in your e-mailaddress and server-data, while offline, but to sign in with any of those programs you'll need an internet connection, so you first need to connect to a wireless network, that's in range. If there is no wireless network, you have access to, you'll not be able to use these programs.

What do you mean with a wireless card? Is there no wireless card in the PDA, or don't you have a wireless network? To set up a wireless network, you need a wireless router, or WLAN-router.

Success, and just ask if you need more help
