95 NISSAN PICK UP WONT MOVE IN DRIVE

Four speed automatic trans...wont move from stop when put in drive. shift fine manually in first and second..when moving can be manually shifted into drive and overdrive. But wont move from stop when put in drive. Thoughts ?
Does anyone know which solnoids are suppose to be powered up ( A or B ) and at what times ? B is suppose to be powered up in third . B seems to be powered up at all times .

Test the transmission module. It controls everything the transmission does, the timing of shift points, gear selection, overdrive, etc

they say 60000 miles . its better to replace the belt and be safe

Do you have it in neutral? Transmission has to be in neutral to shift into and out of 4 low.

It must be giving you a code as to what is going on here. It sounds like you have a bad silenoid to me. It will be inside ya trans on the valve body. Check and see what codes are comming up on it.

check ecu fuse.your problem could be vechicle speed sensor also. if you dont see any ecu check engine light fuse either blowed or bulb burned out.but if ecu not working vechicle wont shift correct.
