KP57WV600...
1. remove 5 screws from behind each speaker
2. grasp center panel at the bottom and "pop" forward. Swing upward, set front panel aside.
3. Remove center wooden panel.
4. Look for "black box" with six screws at the front of set. There is torque paint on screws.
5. (my set would go green before going black) I turned the center bottom screw (green) appx. 1/8 to 1/4 turn counter clockwise.
Plugged in the TV and it works great now!
Happy TV Viewing!!!!

57wv600 blinks 7 times, no picture, or blue for few seconds

1. Remove the 5 screws from behind each speaker
2. Grasp bottom center of plastic panel and "pop" forward. Swing upward to remove.
3. Remove 4 screws from the wooden panel in center.
4. There is a "black box" in the very front of electronics. It will have torque paint on the 2 rows of 3 screws. top row is labeled "focus"
MY TV would go green before going black. Volume still worked.
5. I turned the center bottom screw (marked "green") appx. 1/8 to 1/4 turn COUNTER clockwise.
Plugged TV in and it works fine.

My Sony KP-46WT500 screen shows the tv image in blue only for a few seconds, then it goes completely blank (as if it were off). Do I need to replace the bulbs?

It is rear projection TV that use 3 picture tubes of red-green-blue to show color picture on tv front screen.
Do you see standby red light blinking when TV shuts off after showing blue image for a while?
If red standby light is blinking, please count it how many times it blinks, there would be 3 seconds pause between blinks so count pause to pause and post it here to find out possible solution.
Thanks.

My picture is green the it shuts off with light blinking in front

that's very hard to fix, you need to monitor every test voltage pin if is in normal. try also replace crystal capacitor thats one monitor with the jungle IC.

Sony projecting tv kp-57wv700

Based on service manual info, it cant blinks 7 times as per symptoms, please count again blinks. It can be 5 times.
If its 7 times blink, Horizontal Deflection stopped in this case. If you want to repair it at your own, please let me know to guide you further but it is necessary you should have knowledge of electronics.
