I'm onloy using one needle on the left.
SKIPPED STITCHES ON A SERGER
1. Is the needle bent or worn--replace
2. Is the needle inserted correctly into the needle holder--check needle
3. Is the Serger threaded correctly--rethread
4. Is the presser foot pressure right for the fabric--adjust
use a scrap piece of fabric to sew on as you adjust the tension
when the tension is to loose adjust one number higher till stitch
looks good

SOURCE: lower stitch tension
Just a few tips, which might help. Try these on cotton material first. Make sure you use the same quality thread for both, upper and lower stitching. I find Gutterman the best. Secondly, turn the bobin the other way round. Thirdly, make sure there is no fluff under the needle.Remove the plate and use a little brush. Fourthly, test the bobbin tension by holding it by the thread: if it falls to the ground, it is too loose, if it stops suddenly in the air, it is too tight. When it drops a little and then stays, that it the correct tension. I hope this helps.

test it out on 2 pieces of material by rotating the wheele by hand. pay close attention to the 1" area. when you turn it by hand you can feel the area of question. is your bobbin spooled correctly. if all fails read the directions.

Make sure the thread is in the tension disks. Do this by pulling the thread backwards towards the spools. Also set the tension on zero and check for any fluff, or thread that is stuck in the disks, preventing them from closing properly. Good luck
