Reset button I want to reset my rca opal M40001A but when I press the reset button, it doesn't reset. It's not broken, but I don't like the songs on it anymore and it won't let me reset unless it malfunctions, What should I do?

there should be a reset button somewhere on it try that or try removing the bat. to reset it

On the back of the player is a small reset hole, use something non-metallic to press in there. Something like a toothpick will work great.

This will reset the device. If the problem persists after doing this you will need to contact RCA.

to unfreeze your rca oPal press the reset button (2 seconds) then press play and hold for another 2 seconds. this shoud do the trick.

Instead of doing it from the device itself, do it from Windows Media Player.

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

Push down the key lock switch, I think on your model it is on the side of the unit.

If it still does not work, then the lock switch is probably faulty or stuck inside, in this case you need to take apart the unit, to fix it.

Try playing with the lock switch, or resetting the unit, that should unlocck your MP3.

my computer wont reconize my usb cable waht do i do

when you plug it into your computer either windows media player of yahoo music jukebox click to transfer information from the mp3 to the computer and look under opal then songs and all your songs will be listed and just right click and press remove.

if yo hav vista or maby any other windows that is copatable with this mp3 player yo go to the media player where it says sync click it and then click shuffle opal it will delete all your music
