Searching for driver for Veo Webcam

Will my Veo, once I go through the trouble of finding the driver even work on Vista or should I just buy a new one?

This is the best way to download the drivers of all your devices which are connected to the system for free.

You can download the Driver Magician from this link :

http://www.toggle.com/lv/group/view/kl34858/Driver_Magician.htm

Download the reg key from this link :

http://public.box.net/paul123

then doule click & select ok.

Run the program and select update drivers, it will list the list of pdated drivers.

Select the drivers and select download drivers.

If it does not download just select the driver you need and at the bottom you would see a link,

Just copy that link and download from your browser or download manager, I use orbit downloader.

1st You download Webcam Driver.
driver for Veo Webcam After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Everything I have read on the web (at least 10 sites) tells me there are no drivers for the Veo Stingray webcam on Vista. It may be time for a new webcam. Sorry :(

Can't load my Veo Connect on Windows Vista
Unfortunately, VEO have now stopped any online support for their products. There are no Vista drivers planned. All you can do is revert to XP, get a new webcam, or wait and keep searching in the hope that a private individual might make a driver at some point (unlikely). Sorry if bad news Hope it helps :)

Searching in Vain for a Veo Driver
Hi,
This is the tried and tested software driver for the 333v:

It works on XP, but not on Vista :( Veo technically went out of business. Some of their old drivers can be found on line but nothing for Vista.

Have Veo webcam, but Vista operating system..won't work
None that I have been able to find that actually works. A few will claim to address the issue but I couldn't make them work. I figure that one day when Microsoft is having a very light day at work, one of the programmers might do something about it, but in all liklihood, Microsoft wants us to buy new hardware to go with their newest operating system. And some of the new webcams are VERY nice compared to the old VEO units

Veo webcam 333vb - driver for vista
Hello nodriver, Guess what vista more then likely will never have a driver for this device. Veo technically went out of business. Some of their old drivers can be found on line but nothing for Vista. In fact most of the cameras don't have drivers that work on Vista. They have Vista compatable drivers which are put together in a kludgy fashion. The only thin I can say is get another camera and wait for the Vista driver to come out.

Will not startup with windows vista
My Veo Stingray works with Vista Ultimate just fine.

How I did mine:

Search for and find on the net (like I did once upon a time) a file named:

"veo_330V_v002"

Install it- Mine wouldnt finish install (95%) because of ".DLL load failer"

Once rebooted- when the system tried to install driver auto. I just browsed to the "c:\program files\veo stingray\drivers folder (created) and it installed and works now.
