My Hotmail went over to Windows Live Mail ok and I have all my old mail. My Messenger became Skype which is slow and clumsy but works. I suggest you try logging on directly on the Hotmail site at https://login.live.com.

If you login to your hotmail account and go to help on there, it should provide you the details you need to setup/ link your mail account with your Outlook
Are you entering your correct password for the mail id? Go for the link can not access my account link on the login page you will be asked for the secondary mail address if you have provided any and a reset link will be sent to this mail address. By opening your secondary email-account you will be able to click on the reset link and can access your hotmail account afterwards.
Or you can also use the code link, if you have registered for it on the hotmail login page, and with the help of same you wil be able to login onto your hotmail account.
ok, you need to check the mail send/receive options in OUTLOOK/OUTLOOK EXPRESS.

nother solution is to go with GMAIL or I have a mail service @ njmail.sytes.net in which it's natural for my server to have POP/SMTP/WEB mail. Price is negotiable from $20 - $60 (depending upon space).

LIKE POP3 AND IMAP4 BUT IN HOTMAIL BOTH THESE ACCESS POINT NOT SUPPORTED THEY REQUIRED HTTP FOR THAT, SO YOU CANT ACCESS HOTMAIL ON MOTOMING,NON ONLY MOTOMING BUT ON ANY MOBILE DEVICE. SO BETTER YOU CHOOSE YAHOO FOR THE SAME.
