LC-26DV24U-trying to scan for new analog channels

Check that the current input is TV. Press the Input button on the TV or the remote. If it isn't, press Input several times or use the Up/Down arrows. Once TV is highlighted, then either wait or press Enter to go to that source. Now try to access the Channels sub-menu.

I hope this helps. The manual for the Sharp LC-26DV24U is available at Sears Parts Direct: https://c.searspartsdirect.com/mmh/pd_download/lis_pdf/OWNM/L0810455.pdf .

(It's normal for most TVs to skip parts of the On-screen menu when the source isn't compatible with the options in that section. Note: if you are using a universal remote, even if there is a source/input button, you may need to try multiple codes for the Sharp brand to ensure that the Input/Source button works. The On/Off code is usually going to work with several codes.)

What's the imput button or code on remote for ten year old TV. Model #14MS2331/17

According to the manual for the Magnavox 14MS2331/17B, you switch to the A/V input by pressing Ch+ or Ch- on either the TV or the remote until you see AV as the current option. (Thus you have to scroll down from Channel 2 or up from Channel 69 for an OTA signal. For cable TV, the AV will be reached by Ch - from channel 1 or Ch + from channel 125.) See page 3 (7 of the PDF) here: http://download.m4c.magnavox.com/files/1/14ms2331_17b/14ms2331_17b_dfu_aen.pdf .

Since it is possible to skip channels by editing the channel list, you may need to check if the AV option has been skipped. To do this, press Menu. Use the up/down buttons to navigate to Install and press the right button to enter this menu. Highlight the Channel Edit line and press the right button to check this. Once in this sub-menu, use the left/right buttons to scroll through the Channel number options (or use Ch+/Ch- to see the stored list). You can also type in a channel number on the remote. Press the down arrow to change to the line that reads Skipped. Use the left/right arrows to change between Yes or No. (No indicates you can reach the channel with the Ch+/Ch- buttons.) Use the Up arrow to return to the channel number line to scroll to other channels. Press Status/Exit to leave the menu system. See page 10 (14 of the PDF) for details.

I hope this helps.

How do I switch from catv to antenna on model mwc13d6

First make sure that the TV/DVD player is on TV by pressing the Channel Up. (The channel up/down will rotate through AUX and any programmed channels.) You'll need the original remote or an universal remote that matches the Set-up function. Then press Set-up on the remote; it's to the left of Mute above Play.
Use the Up/Down arrows to navigate to Channel Setup. Press Enter to access the Channel Setup menu. Use the Up and Down arrows to select Auto Ch Programming and press Enter. Wait for the TV to scan all available channels. Afterwards, you can go back to the Channel Setup menu and choose Add/Delete channels. Press Set-Up again to exit the On-screen menu system.

Unless you have a set-top Digital-to-Analog converter attached to the TV, you will only get one of the few remaining low power analog stations, if you are close to the transmitter. This set only has an NTSC tuner. Most set-top boxes can be attached to the Antenna input and be set to Channel 3 or 4 or connected to the Aux input.

The Magnavox MWC13D6 was manufactured by Funai and the manual is available here: http://www.funai-corp.com/support/manuals.aspx . The direct link to the manual is MWC13D6 is http://www.funai-corp.com/support/om/MWC13D6.pdf .

I hope this helps.

My tv's channels are only up to ch 35, and we have cable tv connection. I cant utilize my cable connection cause my tv's only programmed up to 35. do we have a way to program it to go up to more than 35?...

I assume you have analog cable TV service and no cable box. Press MENU button on your TV remote. Go over to CHANNEL SETUP. There are four arrow buttons and a button in the middle of the arrow buttons on the TV remote control. Use these arrow buttons to go up, down, left and right. Use the button in the center to select. TV On-screen menu has Video, then Audio, then Channel Setup.

Cable can be set to ON or OFF, you want to set it ON to get cable channels.
Go down to AUTO PROGRAM and select it, press button in the center of arrow keys.
A short delay while available channels are searched so be patient. After Auto Program finishes, press MENU to exit. You can perform Auto Program whenever required.

You can also add or skip channels manually. You will discover more options in the TVs menus.

I need to set digital channels on my Sony Trinitron system. It will not auto-program on digital on analog. model KD-27FS170

Hi,

You need to switch the TV to digital mode before you run the auto-program. Press the "DIGITAL/ANALOG" button on your remote before you run the scan. After switching to digital mode please complete the following steps to run the auto-program:

1. Press the "MENU" button on the remote
2. Press the right arrow ">" button on the remote once to highlight "CH" (looks like 3 boxes)
3. Press the "+" button (in the center of the arrow keys) to select.

You will now be in the "Digital Channels" menu. If you are in a menu called "Channel Setup", you are in the wrong mode. You should exit the menu, press the "DIGITAL/ANALOG" button on your remote and start again at step 1.

4. Press the down arrow on the remote to highlight "AUTO PROGRAM"
5. Press the "+" button (in the center of the arrow keys) to select.

The auto program will now run. This could take a while to complete but a progress bar is displayed so you can see how far it has gone.

If you can't get this to work or need further assistance, please post back.

Regards,
BElectric

I just purchased the RCA model L32HD31R. Everything works fine except that I can't remove the analog channels from the list. I get my signal OTA so no cable or sat issues. I go into the List Menu and they...

I had the same problem and finally sloved it. You have to leave the input channels ( Vid1, Vid2, SVid, Cmpt, HDMI, etc ) in the In Channel List. So push the INPUT button, go to VID1, press Menu, go down to List & Labels then check In Channel list. Do this for all the inputs and then run your Channel search again. I hope this works for you. It did for me.

RCA Scenium HDLP61W151

I had the same behavior, but not as a result of power outage. The TV is driven by windows CE software and it goes haywire every now and then. Usually pulling the plug for a few seconds takes care of any problems, but not this time (as you noticed). I had unplugged my ethernet connection on the TV a few weeks ago and thought I'd hook it up again to see if there was a new software release (not likely). I went to the menu and chose "Connections" and then chose "Ethernet Setup" and then chose "Reset All". After I closed the menu the TV rebooted itself (as it said it would). After my TV rebooted I had my analog channels back. There shouldn't be any connection between these two events, but it worked for me. Hopefully it will work for you as well. Good Luck!
