Driver for soundblaster eureka pci 64 soundcard

First make sure it`s the right model.

But first select your windows system 32 or 64 bit system.

Download the sound driver and unzip the file before you install.

Reboot after the install is done.

Install the other drivers if any missing.

Is it a card in a PCI slot? If so does your motherboard already have a soundcard? You'll have to disable it if so to make the PCI card one active. Having 2 sound cards confuses windows, you need to tell it which to use...

To disable the onboard either look in the bios settings or go to device manager, find the soundcard in the relevant section and then right click - disable it...

If that's the case it should be ok but try loading up windows media player and going to the preferences seeing which sound card it is trying to use. Usually if you can get media player working everything else will work

you need to update to windows 8 when you have updated you need to remove your soundcard and reinstall it.then you need to reboot your system windows will then find your soundcard and automatically update your drivers.hope this is of use.

Assuming you are still running windows 95/98 with this soundcard as it was NOT designed to run with XP or Vista here is a link to the driver. Hope this helps.

1st Download Driver from this site Creative Sound Driver
Installation of Sound Card.

• Go to the control panel
• Click on the System Icon
• Click on the Hardware Tab
• Click on the Device Manager then
• Select the Multimedia Controller or Audio Control the yellow Question Marks sign on it.
• Right click on Multimedia Controller and uninstall it.
• After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
• Driver installation Wizard start.
• Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
• Driver will be install.

Here's an overview of driver for Windows 98. When the card is inserted in one of the PCI expansion slots you must install it's drivers. Windows will probably detect the card but doesn't know how to control it.
