Exceed 1/10 Sunfire - it does not reverse. I tired flipping the rev button on the remote, all it did was switch my controls around but still only goes forward.

There is a switch on the transmitter that says ST (Steering) and has two positions- N (normal) and R (reversed). There is also a TH (throttle) which can also be Normal or Reversed. Try switching that setting.
one adjusts steering from neutral (best) to a bit left or right, the other adjusts where trigger throttle will start breaking/reverse (keep in mind one does not need alot of speed in reverse so adjusting this so it acts more like a brake, and not throw you right into reverse is best)
try sync it to level 4 on it will turn green on full throtal I did it then I had to do it again because I charged the battery and had to sync it again try this when I did not do it second time it just stop tell me if that is the problem not a good discharge battery for 3000ninh 8.4
I've got a couple of Minka aire ceiling fans in the home I moved into. The larger one didn't have a problem switching directions using the button on the remote. The smaller one I couldn't get it to switch direction with the remote but in a post above someone mentioned fiddling with the on-off wall switch. So I played around a bit holding down the remote switches for fan speed and reverse direction and flipping the wall switch off and on again and after a couple of tries the fan reversed direction, so thanks for the tip!
There is a switch on the housing of the fan. It is under the blades and above the lites if you have lights. Also same area as the chains. That is the reverse switch you might have hit it when cleaning the fan. just flip the switch iy goes left to right or reverse.
