Can't reset nikon D50 default settings

Ok, so I have a nikon D50, and I must have been playing around with it, because for some reason whenever I turn the flash off the shutter speed is practically slower than a turtle, making my pictures all blurry. So I kinda just want to restore the default settings on my camera so it'll stop doing that, but I don't have my manual and I don't know how to fix either problem. Help with either??

Press MENU and select the pencil icon to get to the Custom Settings Menu.
First select the "Detailed" mode under Menu > Setup (wrench) Menu > CSM menu, otherwise you'll only to get the first few items!
[R] Menu Reset: This returns everything below to factory default.

Do what Fwayne says but it sounds like its not the menu. When you dont have the flash on it takes more light which makes the shutter stay open longer to get enough light for the picture. make sure your on complete manual or on the shutter speed mode. that or get a tripod.

Hi there,
There is no monochrome parameter in the D50 as oppose to the D200. You will have to convert using software.

I just began receiving the error code "fEE" on my D50.

Remove your card and see if that clears the issue. If it does, then you card was probably not "seated" correctly and it needs to be reinserted. If that solves it, you're good to go. Another option is you try resetting your camera. This is a fairly easy procedure which involves either going into your setup menu and choosing "reset," or, removing the batteries for a few minutes. It may be that the firmware loading got corrupted and the camera just needs to be "rebooted," which is something that turning it on/off won't accomplish. But after which, you should have the camera reset to factory default settings.

Also, remove the lenses, clean the lens contacts with a pencil eraser, and reinstall. then power up.

Memory card flashes full when it's not

There should be a "format card" option in the camera's system menu. do this and it may help the unfortunate equipment realize the situation:) (be sure there are no pics you want to keep as they will be permenantly removed)
