The glass top can be fixed. You will need to call a parts dealer to order. They usually run a couple hundred dollars. If you are going to replace yourself than you will need to pull the stove out and disconnect power. Than remove the side panels and it allows access to the screws holding the glass top in place. Be extremely careful when replacing these. They can break easily. Make sure you place burners and everything on the new one exactly how they are on the old one. Easy way of doing this is have a couple big towels and set next to each other and switch parts there. Remember that when you put it back together to clean it with glasstop cleaner before you use the stove.
Move the safety lock/lever at the top of the oven door to the right and press the self clean button on the oven control panel, it is an automatic cycle so it will lock the door from opening and then will proceed with the auto clean cycle. Good luck !
Usually short instructions come with the glass. Just be careful about the wires not to pinch them tween the new glass and the frame. Use the type sealant they recommend.
