English manual i have a spanish manual that came with the printer but I speak english only. where can i get the manual for free

Press the skip button and hold for 2 seconds to toggle the language from Spanish to English. The unit will then announce "English selected".

You can download the manual in English and/or Spanish from the manufacturer's web site at

I hate to say it, but I don't think you can, as it states in the owner's manual of the c5500, "the menu indicators are given in english only" and "since the menu is likely to change based on destination or for other reason, it is not disclosed to the end user".

I'm thinking you may have a machine that was destined for a spanish speaking person or area.

If the instructions are in Spanish, there are some free Spanish translation sites on the web. Just do a search for "translation" websites, that will translate from Spanish to English.
