we (USA)_ have no Cherokee here, 2011, are you in UK or India or?
the Cherokee brand came back to USA in 2014,so you are not here.

pulled the coil pack wires all at once.
sure. never do that, it's 1 by1, but is not using old 2000 coil packs.
no engine told at all not even v6 or v8 or size told
no vin told so i can tell you what is under that hood.
google vin decoder and see for your self first
our GRAND has 4 engines, 1 is diesel so not that.
our GRAND is
3.6L 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6. uses COPs, no coil packs just 6 cops o
5.7L 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. uses COPS. the PCM and harness break outs set order.
5.7L USA has twin COPS, 2 per bank 4 total. and going plug in one way.
6.4L 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. ditto. seems not sold in USA. ( data is hard to find on it)

6.4-liter SRT HEMI V8 engine that is only available on the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT.

the oil sending unit grounds out the dash light bulb as engine speed increases the pressure rises and turn light off normal idle hot oil pressure 30-40 psi. if low then engine bearings are worn.

Are you currently using the original PCM that came with the car or has it ever been changed?

P1401 NISSAN Description The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) temperature sensor detects temperature changes in the EGR passage way. The EGR temperature sensor is a thermistor that modifies a voltage signal sent from the Engine Control Module (ECM). This modified signal then returns to the ECM as an input signal. As the temperature increases, EGR temperature sensor resistance decreases.

As you do not have heat, one or more heater & AC air delivery and/or temperature mode door actuator may have failed. This can result in incorrect air delivery or temperature. If this occurs, fault code(s) will be stored in the HVAC control module and should be recovered (A code reader is required) to assist with diagnoses.

If the check engine light is on, I would take the car to an autoparts store and have them use a scan tool to retrieve any fault codes stored in the computer. Most parts stores will perform the scan for free. Getting the codes will show any engine faults that the computer has identified. Hope this helped and best wishes.

By any chance did this start after an oil service. Could be the wrong oil. But my first guess is the wire at the sensor may be loose or the sensor is bad. Oil pressure sensor. Best bet is to have it looked at by a pro because Chrysler has had lots of problems over the years due to oil issues. I'm talking engine destroying oil issues. I'm not saying be concerned but be aware of this in order to make your best decision

Sounds like the trans input shaft may be broken.If the input shaft, which is connected to the clutch, is not transmitting rotation to the inside of the trans then what you describe will occur.

What code number? It could have a wiring short or open to the PCM or to ground. Cam could be out of time, check the timing belt.
