PNY MICRO SD 2GB

Hi,
I have a PNY MICRO SD 2GB for my Samsung Messenger. When I put the Adapter into the computer it showed some files. One named My_Music. I put a CD in and downloaded the Cd onto the My_Music file. It showed that it existed on the computer, so I took it out and plugged it into my phone. When I went to the Music Player, it showed that there was nothing on it. So I plugged it back in the computer. It still showed that the music was on there. Just to make sure that it wasn't the whole SD, I decided to put some photos on the SD. When I plugged it into the phone, all of the pictures showed up but none of the sings did. Any advice?

Files must have the correct extension. i.e. .wav or .mp3 or whatever the music player requires. You may need to convert the sound file to a different type for the device to see it. It may show in one device and not another for this reason

SOURCE: Hi ya doin?

Put it into your computer, go to Start>My Computer. Find your card, right click it and somewhere on the list there should be a format option.

SOURCE: I have a PNY MICRO SD 2GB for my Samsung Messenger.

Hi. Well the problem is that your songs probably aren't recognized as mp3 files. I have a SanDisk micro SD and I downloaded a CD onto on a program such as RealPlayer or Windows Media Player first. Secondly, I dragged the files from there onto my SD. Try this but if this doesn't work then take out your micro SD and format it to your phone. This will end up erasing all that you have on there and possibly require you to do it many times just as I had to do, t eventually mine did work perfectly. I hope this works.

SOURCE: my pny 2gb micro sd memory card is

First check to see if it has a slide bar any where on the card itself to lock/unlock.

second download and install Sony EzRecover....

http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/Other-DRIVERS-TOOLS/Others/Sony-EzRecover.shtml

and use it to format the card (which will erase all data).
If that doesn't work select Control Panel --> Administrative Tools--> "Disk Management. Select the micro SD drive and click Delete. Right-click on empty drive and select New Partition.

Doesn't show mp3 files on micro sd card

You have to drag and drop only the MP3 files into the music folder. If you have them organized and in folder by artist, drag only the MP3s into the card's Music folder.

I dont know where to put this

Hi, First insert the micro SD into its adapter which resembles a SD card itself but has a small opening at the bottom to insert the micro SD. The adapter should not b locked while inserting or removin the micro SD. Now insert the adapter in the card readers slot which should be connected to a PC via a USB. If its a card reader then insert the adapter with microSD in the right side top corner of the card reader with the adapters copper pins facing down. OR if u already have slots in ur CPU to insert the SD card install it there, Now transfer files to ur card happily. NOTE: Rename ur device so that next time when u plug it in the adpter n connect it to PC, u wont get confused. Just right Click on the drive icon in ur PC n select rename n just giv any name as u lik. Rate he soln dude Bye..........!

Getting music onto my pny micro sd 2gb

You should just have to locate it in "my computer" open it up and drag and drop music files onto it. or just burn them on to it. e.g windows media player. if it wont let you. make sure its not locked by checking the switch on the side. Also ask your friend if he set a pin/password for this micro sd.
