Frigidaire FRS23R4A I have a Frigidaire FRS23R4A which the ice maker has stopped making ice. I have tested the water disburstment via the door and it does provide water but not any strong presure. I browsed through some of the suggestions here and from what I see it could be the icemaker module and water pump but before I decide to replace this part is there anything more I can do to isolate the issue so that I am not replacing good parts?
Any advide would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Ice maker stopped making ice when the filter indicator light turned red. Water dispenser works fine, ordered new filter on line and reset the light. The water and ice maker are two seperate water control valves built onto the same. Your water control valve for the ice maker may be defective and require that you change the set. Fill ice maker with tap water and allow the water to freeze. If the ice maker dumps the ice into ice bin and then does not refill then this points to the water control valve. If the ice maker does nothing after water freezes then the problem is the ice maker. Send me a model number and I will look up the part numbers for you, Thanks, Sea Breeze
-Turn the ice maker off. If still leaking and decide not to use the ice maker to make any more ice then unplug the
water valve that let water run to the ice tray. Only the one for the ice. Otherwise you will not have any water at all.
It's very likely that your problem is at the connection where the water line from the refrgerator connects to your home water pipe. Sometimes if you just turn that little valve all the way in and then back out it will solve your problem.Hope this helps.
The auger arm in the back of the freezer should be rotating to test this hold the door switch in and push the dispise button down. If it does not even try it could be the control switch on the door. the auger motor is a 120v motor and relatively strong. You can test to see if you can manually turn the arm it should trurn stiffly. Its alsoi a chance you don't have the been in place correctly.
Pour about 1/2 cup of water into ice maker . If it dumps , replace the water valve . If doesn't dump , replace the ice maker . Also make sure the coils are clean of dust , lint , etc...thumbs up
couldnt bring up your model #... should be a off / on switch or arm to raise, should be able to shut off your ice maker... cant imagine what could be making a sould like a motor cycle lol
