and then…
Start - Run - regsvr32 vbscript.dll - OK

My yahoo messenger won't show any messages on the IM window. I can see what i am typing but not when i've sent it already. I can't also see the messages sent for me. I've already reinstall different versions of yahoo messenger and have followed the instructions to troubleshoot it but it still doesn't work.i been experiencing this problem almost one week already

I had error earlier... I would solve it... Error was XXXXXXXXXXXX is on your Ignore List. Your messages will be sent, but you will not receive any replies.
Click on messenger -------> Precedence -------> Click option ignore only the below people.

CAN’T SEE TEXT IN INSTANT MESSAGES?
This is an issue that is cropping up more and more. If just a new
problem try exiting Yahoo Messenger and then relaunching it. Even try
rebooting your computer. If both those fail to solve your problem then
try the suggestions below.
1) The first thing to check is to make sure you have scripting enabled
in Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is integrated into Yahoo
Messenger so things that go wrong with IE can affect Yahoo Messenger.

2) In the Start Menu click on Run. Type, without the quotes, “regsvr32
jscript.dll” and then click OK. Next, repeat the process but this time
type in the Run box “regsvr32 vbscript.dll” and click OK. Please note,

Control (UAC). You can easily turn it back on. On the Control Panel
(Category View) choose User Accounts and Family Safety, next choose
User Accounts, and then click Turn User Account Control on or off.
3) If the above does not fix your problem and you are using Windows XP,
you can update your Windows Script to version 5.7. In my experience
helping others, this is the step that has helped the most people. Exit
all browser windows and chat programs including Yahoo Messenger before

Or you can do an internet search for Windows Script 5.7 and choose the Microsoft link.
This version of Window Script is already included with Vista so you
would not use that link. There is also a Windows Script 5.7 released

The problem is probably with the support software that drives Messenger - this is not downloaded with Yahoo Messenger but installed on your computer. Check your IE settings first

Click "Internet Options."
Click "Security"

marked safe for scripting"- enable
Scroll down to "Scripting - Active

After updating check you do not have old versions of
Flashplayer, Shockwaveplayer and Java running alongside the latest - this can
cause conflicts

I can see what I type in the dialog box but after I press ENTER it does not show anything in the texting box (same with people typing back to me). It stays completely blank. I even tried sending "faces" and those characters (can't remember what they are called). And NOTHING. I had 9.0 so I restarted my computer. Didn't work. So I uninstalled 9.0 then reinstalled it. Didn't work. So I uninstall it yet again and drop back down to the 8.0 version and again the same thing. Any help is much appreciated. I even messed with my preferences in settings. NOTHING...l

I have yahoo, and was using messenger with another yahoo user. All of a sudden it says 'Your message could not be delivered to ________' I tried it with another email, same thing. I tried it on my other computer and it worked perfectly! It is the same model and make as the computer that won't use yahoo if that helps. And my computers are macs....
