Is the problem with embroidery only? If with both sewing and embroidery function and there is no error code (just 00) on the display, my wife experienced the same problem. There was an internal sensor that was bad. The sewing machine shop repaired with a new Singer part. Part was about $20, labor was $180.

How to deactivate the safety device on the Singer Futura SES 1000 embroidery machine? How can I get the hand wheel to turn again to get the machine to sew/embroider?

You can't--something is stopping the wheel from turning, and until you find out what is stopping it, your machine will be locked up. Take a look below the bobbin case, and you'll see a ***** holding a little door. It allows you to clean and see on the other side of the bobbin basket. Chances are, there's something like a broken off needle stopping the gear that turns the hook. It can also be caused by threads wrapped around the tension disks, or around the inside of the hand wheel itself. The hand wheel can be removed by removing the cap in the center--it is hiding a ***** that holds the wheel.

My fuse has blown twice and the hand wheel is tight. How and where do I oil the hand wheel? We are missionaries in Mexico and cannot take it to a repair shop. We have replaced the fuse ourselves. It i

The fuse is blowing because the wheel is tight. This causes an increase of load on the motor which in turn blows the fuse.
I would look at the upper and lower shafts for thread wraps or dirt, properly lubricate the bushings, turn machine by hand and try to find tight spots. no sense putting in a new fuse until the problem is fixed

you might try youtube for video's on embroidery
The needle thread breaks
1. the needle thread is not threaded properly
2. The needle thread tension is to tight
3. The needle is bent or blunt
4. The needle is incorrectly inserted
5. The needle thread & the bobbin thread are not set under the presser foot when starting to sew
6. the threads were not drawn to the rear after sewing
7. The thread is either to heavy or to fine for the needle

I have a Singer CE-100 and I would like to know why it keeps beeping and stopping?

There are a few problems this could be. Your top thread could be broken or about to break; your bobbin thread could be broken, about to break or empty/about to become empty and is loose around the bobbin; you could have a birds' nest (a mass of thread just under the fabric/presser foot and/or within the feed dog and bobbin) forming and causing a jam; or it could be your Futura having a little bit of a hissy fit. Obviously, if you've checked for broken thread you need to move on. Check for a birds' nest by removing the fabric and clip your threads. If you find one, clear it, rethread your bobbin and begin sewing again. If there's no birds' nest, then place the fabric back in and try sewing/embroidering again. If the machine acts up again, I recommend removing the fabric/hoop, rethreading your top and bobbin threads, replacing fabric/hoop and resuming where you left off. If the machine still gives you trouble, try hitting the start button for a couple of times and seeing if the problem doesn't simply resolve itself. When you're embroidering areas that have a few small, short stitches only, the machine seems to act up a little and then behaves fine once you bypass the area. Be sure to take all of the other steps first, though, because a birds' nest will RUIN a beautiful seam or embroidery.

My machine will not thread any bobbins.

Your bobbin winder has seized. Remove the top cover and oil the area where the bobbin winder shaft goes through the bobbin winder assembly. You might need to force the winder to turn with your fingers for a while, but it will begin to turn smoothly once the oil gets in there.

If the black bobbin winder tire has a flat spot worn into it, you will need a new bobbin winder tire. Costs around a dollar.

I have the futura ce-100. When embroidering it

This annoys the heck out of me, cause it happens a lot more than it should. There can be some valid reasons as to why it happens, though.

Singer CE-150: Constant error messages, thread breakage, etc.

Check the sensor at the top of the machine. It is where the thread passes through the plastic "u-turn". Check to see if the wheel turns when you pull the thread through the machine. The wheel has a red marking on it. If the wheel isn't turning when you pull the thread, it may not be sensing the threading correctly.

I hope this helps. God bless you!

Bobbins for se 270-d

I have the same problem! I also have the same problem with the ULT2001. The SE270D is a class A bobbin if I'm not mistaken. I've tried ALL kinds of bobbins and did not repair the problem. I stopped embroidering w/it for a while and only used it for sewing. It started embroidering ok for now. As far as oiling - I researched this last week when the motor locked up. You should be keeping the bobbin area (pop the plates under the sewing foot off) and make sure you don't have lint building up there. But the best I found, DON'T OIL. I couldn't find anything anywhere that would tell me where to put oil. What I did find was that you should take your machine in to be serviced about every 300-500 hours of use.

Can't seem to embroider

brothers frame is much smaller I think 4 x 4. I have futura 200. found this to happen at first but now now. Make sure when threading that you floss the thread through the top part, it has plastic over it. The thread must fit properly in this part. (flossing means to run back and forth a couple of times holding thread tightly). Also, hold the 2 thread ends when you first start to embroider. Hope this helps
