From the information here, it sounds like you do not have any suction. If this happened at the same time you replaced the bag, I'm guessing that the unit did not seal when you put it back together. Make sure the bag is seated like it should be and the cover that you removed to replace the bag is sealed and locked into place. An easy way to check this would be to remove the inlet side tubing from the machine and check the suction there. If the unit has a utility valve, be sure that it is closed. You should have good suction there unless the bag cover part of the canister is not sealing onto the rest of the unit, or the fan assembly is damaged. The latter of which is pretty rare, and it would probably make a good bit of noise. If you have good suction at the unit, then you either have a clog or an open pipe somewhere. I hope this helps.
