Meshell Coles,

I would be happy to help get this fixed! If the TV is connected via a Coax cable, try changing it to 3 or 4 if TV1. If it is TV2 try 60 or 73. If the receiver is connected via a RCA (Red, Yellow, White) cable, HDMI cable, or Component (YPbPr), make sure the receiver is on the correct input.

If you have any other questions, just let me know!

SOURCE: cant find code for emerson lc320emx toprogram to dish remote

Try 1465. However, you will still have to use your other remote to turn the unit on. :(

SOURCE: REMOTE CONTROL

If you're lucky it will respond to code 10178, if not then you will need a rc64 directv remote and try the proview codes. The proview codes are worthless in any other directv remote other then the rc64 series.

SOURCE: dish network remote stopped working for on and off and volume

First before trying to repair the remote lets try to just reprogram it. The easiest way to do this is to do a search. 1st Turn the tv on, then on the remote press and hold the tv button until it flashes. Next press the tv power button. Next press the up arrow button slowly until the tv turns off. Then hit the # key. Now if you pressed the up arrow to many times and the tv doesn't respond to the remote just start the process over, except using the up arrow use the down. You may have to push the up arrow button many times before it finds the code. The batteries usually last quite a while since there are 4 of them. If this doesn't work call 1-800-333-dish they will either send out a tech or just mail you a new one. If you have the user guide for the 722 the instructions to do this are on page 82.

Want to run Dish network DVR 2nd TV thru cable to Sharp lc-c5255u Dish uses channel 73. It was not on my TV. I did a channel search and it did not find it. It also erased all channels and I can't...

Go into the setup menu and do a channel search again selecting digital and analog channels. Then change the input type to cable and you should get your channels back.

Sharp dtv e202 error was received

Try just changing the channel to the one set up to receive broadcasts. That worked for me-- the TV was working great until I pressed Input and for some reason that changed the channel away from channel 60, which is the one programmed to receive broadcasts from Dish Network. When I entered 60, the message went away and I got my programming back.

DISH remote will not work for the first 10 minutes when the TV is turned on; so, I have to watch the channel I was watching before I turned the TV off. It seems to work fine after the initial 10 minutes.

Is the TV new? Is it a HD TV? If it is Either a 9Samsung LN(R/S)## Series , Sony Bravia/XBR# Series ,Sharp Aquos (New Models) , or Phillips ##PFL Series than the issue your haveing is what we call IR Remote Response Lost. its a light that cuts on and off that makes any IR remo not work some period of time. You have too call the TV manufactuer or use the manual for assistance. If you need details on how too fix it let me know!!!

No antenna tv signal

Your dish remote should be set to the code for your TV. Then you will be able to control the channel number, not just up/down, as well as volume and maybe even the input. But do try to get a real remote for your TV so you can get to its menus.
Meanwhile, use menu+menu to see the channel being output by the Dish receiver. (Must be a 622/722... based on the 60 you listed.) Try to find an unused UHF channel number that your set does have in its up/down list. Match Air/Cable setting of Dish and TV. The Dish output is analog (NTSC) although the tuner(s) only accept digital (ATSC).

I can't change channels, message on TV says,'' no input available''.

Have you tried reprogramming the Dish remote with the Sharp code? That might bring back the TV control. Another option is to use the TV's control panel menu button (if available), go to the setup choices and have the TV scan for channels while the Dish receiver is on. It will find channel 3 then, and probably nothing else, so the set will stay on that channel.

Hooking up a dish network to my tv

Well, I don 't have that T.V. but I can tell you that you may have to go to your menu and look for your channel setup and change it to another channel output. If that doesn't help then have it search for channels.

Sony tv problem

If you are connecting the dish receiver to the standard antenna jack (F connector) on the TV, then the TV must be in TV mode and tuned to channel 3. If you accidently change to another channel then you will get the "no signal" message. If this is the case then simply put the TV back on channel 3. If you are using the RCA jacks (red, white yellow) to connect the dish receiver to the TV, then the TV must be in the VIDEO mode to work properly. If you accidently put the TV in the TV mode, you will get the "no signal" message. If this is the case then simply press the TV/VIDEO button.
