Range extender is not supplier dependent and should work regardless of who your provider is.
Thanks for your reply. I have checked the speed of my broadband, if I connect the O2 router with ethernet cable, I get 13Mb dowload speedf, but I only get about 6MB download speed via the belkin extender, any method to increase the download speed by using the range extender?
It might be the wireless card on your laptop. Does it support wireless g? What is the make/model of your laptop?

You need to connect all pc's and homehub to a switch so they can talk to one another. Then use the AP as a wireless access point to connect all wireless laptops, and connect the AP to the switch with ethernet cable, and you have a network. Just make sure that only your HH or AP supplies IP addresses or they will clash.

I would suggest taking a look at your modem LEDs. What happens exactly when you lose connection? A look at the LEDs should give you some thought as what might be causing this. You can also try resetting your Belkin to default factory settings by pressing the Reset button at the back for 30 seconds, and then putting back your Belkin settings.
