my watch basically shuts down at night. when i get up in the moring the time is off by several hours. I just had the battery replaced by an authorized dealer but its still doing stopping.

Same problem, sent back for warrenty repair. (after originally sending back for intermittent stopping.) This time it seems to be working.

My Luminox 1929 watch has both day (Mon, Tue, etc.) and date windows. The manual tells how to set the date but not how to set the day of the week.

Because of the way they work, it's quite hard for quartz movements to run consistently slow - so if you find one getting behind, it's usually a sign that it's stopping intermittently. It would do no harm to check that the crown is properly pushed in after you've reset it, but my guess is that the watch will benefit from a new battery. A.

a mechanical part needs replacing, unless your have some form of funky split time running? replacing the battery should have reset it though.

How to set time on Luminox 3001?

I have not been able to find any instructions on their web site, so the only thing I can suggest is that you go to their web site and click on "find a retailer" and speak to them and ask them how to do it.

My Luminox (one of the original navy seals model)is losing time. Can I adjust it, and how?

there's really no way to adjust this problem...unless the watch has been severly jarred or damaged in some way it is most likely just a low or dead battery..if it has been damaged only a watchmaker would be able to replace the faulty gears or parts

Navy Seal Luminox watch second hand problem

It is a feature of this watch, it is referred to as the end of life (EOL) feature, it is a way of letting you know its time to change the battery before it dies to the point where it cannot keep time anymore

Luminox 3100 series stops working at night

Sounds like there could be a bit of foreign material floating about inside, or the new battery was not up to scratch. Take it back for checking.
