Not able to format my pendrive

Hai Dude,,,i bought a 32GB kingston pendrive, and i have problem withthat thing....
1: When i go to open, it is showing as THE DISK IN DRIVE(F) IS NOT
FORMATTED.
2: When i try to copy file, it is showing as
CANNOT COPY (FILENAME): CANNOT FIND THE SPECIFIED FILE
MAKE SURE YOU SPECIFY THE CORRECT PATH AND FILE NAME
3: When i go for format it,i get a message as THE DRIVE CANNOT BE FORMATTED

So, Please help me with this problem......

Make sure you are attaching your pen drive into an USB 2.0 port (also called "high speed USB port"). It must be formatted to FAT32, if it still fails you might try the HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool. If you are using Windows 98 then you need special driver for your pen drive.

To solve the problem use HP USB DISK STORAGE FORMAT TOOL V2.1.8. You can find it at http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=197. Do not format your 32GB Kingston PenDrive with NTFS file system since it does not function. Use FAT32 instead.

My 32gb kingston pendrive is not supporting windoes media player.if i copied 100 songs means it plays only 1 or 2 songs dats it other than dis if copy any other folder it will shows empty,if i go for...

pok you just format the pendrive . After format you load the songs.
Otherwise you go to the servicing center

This maybe the case of fraudulent pendrive, if you bought it off eBay then it may well be a Fake, sorry.
They use a special chip to "Lie" to the computer, and what you describe is typical of what happens when one tries to use the counterfeit ones... Hmmm if so, sorry ..
Usually to they sell the 16KB, as the 32GB.
If that;s not the case simply try formatting again FAT32, and try using it again.
Get the HP Formatting tool,it always works.

normaly your pendrive not formated so cmd (command prompt) use.

Run - cmd (type) than enter

format (pendrive colon) than enter

continue process which computer show
your pendrive is formated.

32Gb kingston pendrive not working. Any data copied get corrupted

When i copy any data to my 32 Gb Kingston pen drive whether any audio or video file or any software, the data get corrupted or may be deleted. some trimes it happen that some of the AV files are working. Why this happened that the data are deleted. I have lost many of my files due to this.It cannot be fomatted also. Please sort my this problem. Thanx

DATA INSIDE 32GB KINGSTON PENDRIVE CANT BE RETRIVED

I have worked through this problem. It is a new virus attack. you should get your antivirus updated and then get your drive cleaned. It surely will help you solving your problem.

Kingston 32gb pendrive complete format

Dear Chandu!
Try formating in safe mode, as well as make sure that all the programs and utilities are stopped before formating it( you Can use Task Manager for that) ,Use an updated anti virus program for scanning it from viruses.
