Begin a wash cyle, after 2 minutes, error code FH appeared and wash cycle stopped running.
Take the lid off attached to the inlet valve to the dispenserr you will see a little white mechanisim in line with them. this is called your flowmeter take it off and blow through it is should sound like a cazoo. put it back on and try to do a wash cycle. if this doesn't help you need a new flowmeter. also if you take the kick panel off you will find the tech sheet to help you diagnose this problem. Always first check your hoses if you have flood hoses get rid of them next get a bucket and see if water is comeing out of the hoses next check you inlet valve screens see if there is sand in them if there is clean them.
Look for the "Pause/Cancel" button on the washer control panel. The button will be below the digital time clock and to the lower right of the wash cycle selector.
Press the "Pause/Cancel" button twice to cancel the wash cycle. Unplug the Kenmore Elite washer from the wall outlet.
Check for kinks in the water supply hose while the washer does not have power. Turn off the water supply spigots and remove the hoses from the back of the washer. Check the port screens at the hose connections for sediment buildup and clean as necessary.
Connect the water supply hoses back to the washer and turn on the water spigots. Plug the washer cord back into the wall outlet.
Select the wash cycle and press the "Start" button.
If the error code come back you will probably have to change the water inlet valves. No hard to do and you can fdo this yourself
One key to determining the cause of the FH error is how fast the error comes up in a cycle. If the error appears within a1 or 2 minutes then the most likely cause will be the water valve or flow meter.
If the error doesn't appear foe several minutes then the pressure switch can be the source of the problem.
Both water valves must be turned on and working. Even if a cold wash is selected at some point during the fill the hot water valve will be energized and if there is no water then the FH error will show up. Sometimes a consumer will turn the hot water valve off to save energy but you can't turn one valve off on this washer.
