Samsung Digimax S630 Digital Camera Logo
Posted on Mar 03, 2017

I took a whole bunch of pictures and several videos on my Samsung S630 camera with a 512 MB memory card in it. Using the camera, I can easily review the pictures and play the movies back on the camera veiw screen. When I try to copy the files onto the computer, they copy over, but I can not view any picture and the videos do not play. I have used this camera for a while, and have not had this problem before. I used it this morning and copied the files over using a 6 in one USB card reader and all the files were fine and readable. I added more to it this afternoon (I did change batteries in-between) and none of the pictures or videos I took this afternoon are viewable on the computer. All can still be viewed in the camera. However, all the files shot earlier in the day were still fine. I can not even view the pictures of videos directly from the memory card while ion the reader. If they play fine on the camera, the files MUST be OK. There is nothing wrong with the card reader or computer as I am able to transfer the files from earlier today with no problem and view them on the computer.

SOURCE: S630 digital

Switched to Picassa instead of Wizard and for some reason it downloaded photos and videos. So I obviously had the wrong program to download from the camera.

1) Using new memory card. first connecting memory card to computer and format. and insert memory card to camera. making single shot. then connecting computer you see picture.
Memory card formating in camera may be not working computer or other device.

What size memory card does the kodak easyshare cx6200 take?

The internal memory for this camera is 8 MB.

The manual indicates using memory cards of size 8 to 128 MB, so this is an early SD memory camera, following the original SD standard. Do not try SDHC or SDXC cards. The camera will support a 1 GB card. It *might* support a 2 or 4 GB card, but since this is a 2 Mpixel camera, a 512 MB or 1 GB card will allow you to save thousands of jpeg format pictures.

Z3 will not accept a 2g card

The Dimage Z3 accept SD cards up to 1GB (Minolta says 512 Mb, and sold it with 16Mb). This camera is 4MP , and uses less memory on card, therefore a 512MB card will be enough for it.

Low memory

I just posted this over on another question. I have a 512 memory card, but somehow I deleted the pictures via my computer... but it didn't recognize it on the camera - but no pictures were showing up in the "review" area! Here's how I fixed my problem:
press the review button click the menu (center) button go all the way to the right side "settings" area (a little cogged wheel and wrench) format the camera ---> yes reset the camera ---> yes
make sure you don't have any valuable pictures still on the camera, because this will delete them, override any of your previous settings (like no sound, or different sounds) and basically reset the camera to original factory settings.
this worked for me, so i hope it will work for you, too!

I'm willing to help you out on this.

Basically, there is no settings for picture storage on your camera.

Once you took pictures WITHOUT a memory card, all pictures taken will automatically be saved on the INTERNAL MEMORY of the camera.

When taking pictures WITH a memory card, all pictures are just saved on the memory card itself.

*** If you want to transfer pictures on the internal memory of the camera to your MEMORY CARD, you just have to follow the steps below:
- Make sure there is a memory card inside the camera
- Turn on camera
- Press on PLAY mode button to view pictures
- Press MENU/OK button
- Keep scrolling to the right until you see COPY TO CARD
- Select YES using the arrow keys
- Press MENU/OK to confirm

* When you've done these steps, all pictures from the INTERNAL MEMORY of the camera will be copied to your MEMORY CARD but it depends on the space left on your memory card

Samsung S630 Digital Camera, Card Error and Format Error

you have several options:

1. see in the specification details of your camera what memory card is compatible for camera. for S630 it is SDHC/MMC/SD card (Up to 4GB Guaranteed). see if you're using memory card within this capacity and type. If you're using a different memory card type and capacity, try to use memorycard that is compatible with your camera.

2. try to use memory card to other devcie like cameras, cellphones and other devices and if it still has error problem, your card may be the one defective. use other cards.

3. try to take pictures without using memory card. use only the internal memory of camera. if camera still display this error meassage, camera needs service.

hope these options solve one of your problems. c",)
