Hi, My dryer stopped heating up about a month ago. My husband took it apart, tested the a part and replaced it. Since that time, the dryer keeps stopping (the timer jumps), only runs for about 10 mins at a time AND the part that worries me the most is that I haven't had to empty the lint trap which I usually do after every load?
Sounds like the vent tubing is not hooked up as it should be and that can cause a lot of lint buildup inside of the dryer parts. take it apart again and clean out all of the lint because this is a fire hazard. make sure that the vent is connected to the lint trap and try working it again. it sounds like maybe the buildup of lint is making the drying hard to do.

Hi and welcome to fixya,
This problem can be caused by poor air circulation inside. In order to efficiently remove lint from clothes, load the dryer 1/2 of its drum capacity. It also helps putting fabric conditioner sheets to prevent clothes from charging static electricity which can attract lint..
Hope this helps,
