I have a Pioneer AVIC-D2 DVD Nav/6.5" Screen/AM/FM/CD Player Car Video Player i can play music on it ,wen i insert a dvd the screen goes black i can hear the dvd playing on my speakers but no picture comes on the screen ,wen i play music there is a blue screen with if i touch skip play and pause buttons come on so i knw that the screen picture works but not when i am playing a dvd is it the wireing in the back thank you.

Avic D2 is not made w/ DVD player. DVD on bottom of radio is for GPS DVD. You need to connect an external DVD player or Playstation. 

There is a safety brake wire that needs to be hooked up. If it was installed professionally, have them explain it to you.There is not supposed to be any video players in view of the driver while in motion. Stop your car and put on the parking brake. If you installed it yourself, you probably didnt hook up the wire. Look inthe install manual for DVD safety wire.
