Sylvania SMPK4230 mp3 wont sync music - Computers & Internet

If the rechargeable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format.You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player.For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer.

Toorganise your music, make a folder name with the name of the music album andplace the album's MP3 files in this folder, then copy the mp3 files from thecomputer into this folder.
You will then be able to select the music you want to play by the music albumfolder.To delete a file from your MP3 player, connect thesupplied USB cable to your player and then plug it into the USB port of yourcomputer.

This is for win XP -- turn your sylvania player off, connect it to the usb port on your computer with the cord that came with the device, now turn the player on. Your computer should recognize the sylvania player and automatically install it. Once it recognizes it and the device is installed and ready, go to your windows media player then to your music files. You tell the media player to connect to your MP3 player by using the Sync mode in the Win Media Player. You can drag individual songs to the syn play list or an entire album now click on start sync and your media player should upload your music files to your Sylvania smpk. You can download all your files or whichever ones you drag to the sync list. I have this player and it worked perfectly for me, I now have hundreds of songs on the player as I uploaded most of my music files.

Ebooks in text format, that is files with a .txt suffix are mentioned as being supported.

You can copy .txt files onto the device just as you can copy music or video files.
The player will display print on the screen for reading when you access those files.

I personally download ebooks to my computer and copy the ones i want to read on the go to my media player.

Other ebook filetypes are.lit, .htm, epub, and .pdf among others, but there is no mention in the manual if these are supported.

There are ebook conversion programs that you can run on your computer to convert to a type you can use.

if you have windows media player then you can drag the songs you downloaded on frostwire to windows media player sync list then you press sync

you got to get itunes first and then get the songs on your itunes and then plug in youripod and then press sync and then the songs should download on your mp3 then k

you can add files to it by going to my computer and copying and pasting the files into the mp3 player drive.it works the same way as the wmp sync.if the mp3 player doesn't show up in my computer then you got a different problem

try to use the utility that comes with ur device.
