SOURCE: My klh subwoofer has R&L

Yes, you use a subwoofer cable and hook it into the mono rca jack in the back of the sub. or you can use a Y splitter 1 female to 2 males. or if your amp has 2 sub outputs (L&R) then use both. I do believe it's said that if you use the high level input, it's better. I forgot why...

Oh yeah. the difference between the 2 is a high level input allows the currant from the amp to pass through the sub, thus allowing the continuation of wattage to your other speakers.
Low level input is only taking a audio signal from the amp. No power is being sen through the connection.

SOURCE: amplifier turns on but not the subwoofer?

Hello thedj3214,

You can find the color codes for a 1999 Buick Regal here. There is no dedicated amp remote wire. Neither is there a power antenna wire.

You could use the 12V "switched lead (yellow) from the radio or any switched 12V lead directly from the vehicle fuse box. I'd wire it through a dash mounted toggle switch so as to be able to turn the amp on and off manually.

The Sony 2150GSX is a 2-channel amp with the speaker terminals on either side. You do not want to ground the subwoofer itself, only the ground terminal should be connected to bare metal on the vehicle chassis or body as close to the amp as possible. The ground wire does not need to be run to the negative battery terminal.

A ground on one of the speaker leads will probably cause the amp not to power up. A ground on a speaker wire usually activates the amps protection circuit, causing it to not operate until the fault is corrected.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Yamaha YST-SW320 subwoofer won't play sound

I too have amplifier and speakers thatI rent for parties, and sometimes when I connect them they don't work and I battle with them for hours before I find the out that its just a little thing that happened, like speaker wire might have cut inside, or the wire conneted for the CD to Amplifier is bad and son on.

But I will advice that you test your amplifier and woofer, with another equipment independently to be sure if they still working well or not. As this will help you to know what to do next.

May somthing happened to one of them the last time you used it and you did not notice, and it might just need some servicing.

Best wishes

SOURCE: Hi. I have an old Sony Wega 32" LCD TV which I

ok it depends on the wall mount but this is the basic idea of it. make sure there is at least one other person to help you.
1. Make sure everything is off and unplugged from the tv. 2. If you have cables holding your tv to the wall remove them. 3. there should be securing screws at both sides of the arms attaching the tv to the wall. loosen them/ remove them. 4. lift and pull the tv away from the wall. have a friend help you. 5. remove the screws and bolts from the tv and the wall mount and you should be done.
If this doesn't work, find the manual for the wall mount. if you need help or additional tips put them in the comments. Thanks

My electricity went out when I had my window unit on and now my TV won"t come on. My tv is a lil over a year old. Why is this happening

Hi Morris

Am suspecting your electric or power supply.
I need you to try the following steps.
1. unplug all your units or appliances
2. Reset your circuit breaker
3. try to plug your tv only and turn it On, if its turn On, then your tv is Ok
4. You mention window unit, is this aircondition window type?
Now try to plug this window unit and turn it On, if electricity went out again, then the problem is in your circuit breaker.

It could be the specs or rating of your circuit breaker does not much with the rating of your window unit.

No picture, no sound, but TV will power up

Average life on all brands and models is 3 to 5 years. Average repair on this size and type of set varies but is usually from 150 to 250 parts and labor. I see very few sets of this type (any brand) that are more than 6 years old.

The bulk of sets in our shop (over a hundred sets on average) that have failed are under 2 years of age.

I need 1 leg of a stand for a Philips BDL 4231 TV. One of our legs snapped when moving the tv and we don't want to wall mount it. \r\nThanks, AOM

Electronics stores do not stock extra stands for TVs. Each TV comes with one stand and that stand goes with the TV.

If you contact Philips directly you may be able to purchase a stand on it's own, but this isn't likely if your TV is over a few years old.

Check ebay and see if anything is available in your area, if not, you may be limited to purchasing a hybrid stand to mount on or wall mounting.

I have a 55 year pushomatic breaker system in my house. The problem is half the plugs in one bedroom and half in living room do not work all on the same side of the room., when I checked the are were on...

after 55 years service I think it would be wise to renew the whole box with a more up to date safer and more sensitive breaker unit. the more modern breakers are more likely to trip quicker if they notice an issue reducing the chances of shock or electrical fire. speak to a qualified electrican about this as the main breaker will have to be switched off before working on the breaker units. they should be able to advise if your present breakers are still safe to use.

Television does not turn on

please check the ac plug at the wall and also behind the tv. most newer tv's have a cord like a computer that plugs in the back and they sometimes come loose. are the rest of your electronic components working ? if the ac cord is plugged in, your power supply inside the tv has gone bad. you cannot blame your 2 year old if this power supply has gone bad, this was "NOT" caused by playing with the remote control.
