I had this on my machine. This indicate the drain pump is broken. Probably due to a leak from the heating element pipe joint above it. You can easily replace the drain pump yourself. Costs around £30. I got mine from Curry's partmaster in the UK.

hi, just found this forum after searching the web 4 a solution to my hotpoint DWF50 problem.
I came down this morning to a machine which base tray was full of water and lights 3 ECO & 4 Fast flashing.
Anyway my solution was as i had seen a hotpoint engineer do once before was to press the start/reset button trip the catch, to fool the machine into thinking the door is closed then put in a program, press start, the machine hums slightly but doesnt do anything then after removing the large filter from the tray at the bottom underneath the lower basket insert a length of wire, with a loop on the end (Tip i used a wire coat hanger from the dry cleaners) poke in ythe hole that the dirty water drains from, after a bit of poking about the pump started working and the water drained away. Tip place a hook at the other end of your wire impliment to put your finger in to stop the wire getting caught in the pump mechanisim. After wards u have to hook back the door catch to the normal position, Tip another piece of the coat hanger with a right angled piece at the end will do this. This worked for me, saved me some money esp as D & G insurance ran out 2 weeks ago.....stu

Partmaster.co.uk has the Curry's essentials CDW45W16 dishwasher manual. The direct link to the manual is https://www.partmaster.co.uk/images/mediator/1513/currys%20essentials%20cdw45w13.pdf . I found this through a Google search for CDW45W16 manual.

I hope this helps.

My cdwtt11 says could be white residue because salt setting too low , how do i change salt setting

see
http://www.manualslib.com/manual/845521/Currys-Essentials-Cdw60w10.html?page=15
apparently it is done by the position of the salt reservoir and it is not mentioned anywhere in your user manual for the cdwtt11
a good place would have been on page 18 but it is not mentioned.

Your dishwasher is equipped with a safety system which is able to
detect any operating anomalies. These anomalies are reported by
one or two wash cycle indicator lights "G" flashing rapidly.

  • Drain motor disabled
  • Filters clogged
  • Drain hose blocked

Instructions to get access to the drain pump for currys essentials cdw60w10

The best bet is to go on line to the manufactures web site and ask customer services to let you download the schematic and manual, free of charge. You need this schematic to follow the procedures when disassembling and reassembling the parts.

Currys essentials dishwasher error warning

Just installed a CDW60W16 at my daughters house. worked ok empty but as soon as it was loaded the glass icon lit up and beebs. when I turned it over to take a look at the float switch I noticed that the levelling legs were all screwed in so the base of the machine was sitting on the floor. so when the machine was loaded the pressure switch operated as it was being pushed up by the floor. I unscrewed the legs a few turns to allow an air gap between the floor and base of the machine and all working fine now. on checking the installation instructions it only mentions loosening the legs to level it if required which is wasn't. maybe the manual should give instructions to unscrew the legs a few turns to prevent this

Dishwasher error codes please help

I too had this problen today. Printed off a manual from the Hotpoint website. Very helpful troubleshoot section. Anyway, flashing eco and fast lights and beeping sound indicates 'water feed pipe blocked' You need to check the water inlet connections on your tap. However, when we pulled it out we noticed the blue water inlet pipe was slightly kinked. Straightened this out and hey presto! It works fine again. How this happens when its worked ok for 18 months will never know but still. Try it! hope this was helpful...shewoo
