Unplug the keyboard, go to the manufacturers website and download and install the drivers, plug the keyboard back in.

If that doesn't work

check your device manager and see what keyboards are in the keyboard section. delete anything but the hid keyboard device and the standard ps2/2 keyboard from the keyboard section. repeat the first set of instructions

if that doesn't work either

take the keyboard back it is most likely faulty

SOURCE: My toshiba tecra S2 notebook

The hard disk may fail completely sometime in the near future OR it is not making proper connection to the motherboaed.
Try removing and inserting the hard disk to ensure a proper connection to the motherboard and if it still causing intermitten problems, then back up your data ASAP and prepare to replace the hard disk when it fails completely.

Toshiba Satellite 1905-S303 keyboard and touchpad mouse will not work

Hi TiKLe
Try to go into the "safe mode" by pressing repeatdly F1,or F2 or F8 (depending on your computer) and reinstall your keyboard/touchpad drivers from the Toshiba website below.
If that does not work, then try downloading the drivers on a thumb/flash drive on a different computer and go into the safe mode on your computer and insert the flash/thumb drive in and download the drivers for your computer that way.
Go to the following webpage and download your drivers.

Cannot remove dvd

  1. Press the Media Eject key at the top-right corner of the keyboard.
  2. If that doesn't work, drag the disc's icon to the Trash.
  3. If that doesn't work, restart the computer, then hold down the mouse button or trackpad button while the computer is starting up, until the disc is ejected.
To restart, choose Restart from the Apple menu.

Hello. some keys like "6,y.u.w

if it is a laptop keyboard that is not working but you want to use an external keyboard just buy a usb one. Typically if you are running an windows xp or newer, it will just recognized the keyboard and you will be fine.
PS2 is that round plug with 6 pins you would find on older computers.

If you did not want to use an external keyboard and want to try to fix the the internal laptop's keyboard, there are a few things you could try:
1'st, shoot the keys with air duster to see if you can dislodge anything stuck under them.
2'nd, you can pop off the keys and press directly on the contact to see if the button works.
3'd, if that doesn't work you can take off the keyboard and ther will be a part number on the bottom of it. type that into google and you can find a place that sells replacement keyboards.
I did this on a Toshiba satellite and it worked fine, just be sure not to break the keyboard ribbon connector on the motherboard when you remove it.

On my toshiba A105 my keyborad dont response y need help please maybey lost de drivers

keyboard doesn't require drivers. Someone was kind enough to post the steps on replacing a Toshiba A105 keyboard, and since I'm lazy, I'll paste the link here so you can use it to check and see if your laptop's keyboard is securely connected underneath.

http://www.ehow.com/how-does_5021575_replacing-toshiba-laptop-keyboard.html

If your keyboard appears to be securely connected, then it'd gone bad - it happens more than you think - and I'd replace it. Best place to buy replacement keyboards (new or used) is eBay, and anything above $15 is a price reserved only for foreign tourists.

If a new keyboard suffers the same fate, then your A105's motherboard is bad - I haven't seen one go bad in this manner before, but I'll mention it just to worry you some....

In the event of an emergency, you can use a USB keyboard with this laptop and they should be pretty available and cheap locally.

If that doesn't work have you checked if the driver is installed for the webcam?

Hi there, My Crystal Eye Webcam stopped working. I have re-installed from the original on the HDD it tells me ok. Skype can't find it. In Device Manager it's not visible. I also tryed to start...

Try downloading and installing the newest drivers for the model of your computer.
http://www.acer.com/worldwide/support/download.htm

If this doesn't fix it, make sure you are not using any programs like ManyCam or anything that would be using your webcam. You can only use the webcam in one program at a time.
