More info would be helpful.
If it is "Old" then the rubber washer/seal is probably worn in need of replacement. If new it either has a "Defect" or was installed improperly (More likely installed wrong).
SO if NEW then using the installation manual that came with it carfully remove the "Valve". (AFTER TURNING H20 OFF!). Inspect the ruber parts for damage. DELTA 800-345-3358 will replace usually (except cheapos 1or2 yrs) for life the "Defective" parts NOT WHAT YOU DAMAGED.
OLD: Go to
www.delta.com look up your faucet or call DELTA and ask for the "Manual" it will give you blow by blow instructions on YOUR FAUCET how to remove/replace/repair. It is fairly simple to do. AND Delta is a VERY GOOD CO. they honor their warranties. SO DON'T ABUSE THEIR GOOD NATURE, but DO GET FREE PARTS if you deserve them. There are so few companies like that any more, lets try to keep them that way.
