SOURCE: PANASONIC DVD-REC/VCR COMBO with Integrated Digital Tuner & HDMI-DMR-EZ47V playback

When you say downloaded movies are they avi's, vob's mpegs, mov's or windows media files? Which files are you using on the cds? what software are you using to burn the discs? When you burn onto cds are you creating VCD's or just data discs. When you burn onto a RW disc it cannot be finalised. I think you are possibly either not using mpegs or vobs or you discs are not being finalised. (When i say vobs i mean dvd compiled and compatible discs)

SOURCE: anyone know the all region codes for Panasonic SA-PT875 dvd

HELLO!
The main problem with Panasonic DVD units is they are locked to a certain region. The vast majority CANNOT be hacked via the remote control unit and please be warned there some websites who offer strings of codes (with many many numbers) and they are not guaranteed to work - in fact - some can screw up your machine for good.
My advice: take it to a local service centre who will unlock your machine properly!
GOOD LUCK!

Panasonic SA-DM3 shutting down issue

The amplifier is over heating. Probably the emitters, drivers and voltage regulator is bad. I suggest a clean sweep replacing the power pack integrated amp, all emitters, mosfet regulator, and SRC power switch start up control.

Panasonic sa-dm3, says setting error, change setting and the turns off. what can i do?

It is always wise to tell us if this is new equipment or a spontaneous failure on previously functioning equipment. I'm guessing this the former.

For starters you could look at the manual.

http://www.retrevo.com/support/Panasonic-SA-DM3-Home-Theater-Systems-manual/id/312ci674/t/2/

See page 5. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> STEP 1 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< - Orienting the unit and attach the feet.

Its physical orientation is wrong, possibly upside down.

Does not play dvd disc or music disc

I had this same problem with my Apex AD-500W DVD Player. I decided since everyone said the player basically needed to be replaced it wouldn't hurt to go through the buttons on the remote just to try and figure it out......I DID!!!! I turned on my DVD Player, inserted a disc, turned on my tv and then hit the SYSTEM Button right below the power button until the screen said MULTI and the machine started working perfectly. There are 3 settings in that button, PAL which made my screen go crazy, NTSC ( i have no clue) and MULTI(this one made it work)! Hope it also works for all of you!!!

Hi folks!!!

Might be cheaper to pick-up a sub-woofer and a set of speakers at the local store. I checked e-bay..no luck, and it doesn't look like Panasonic will sell separates. It will be easy to get a color match.
