Centre Sensor no longer functioning

My T-Touch Centre Sensor is no longer functioning, although the rest 6 sensors around edge still working fine. But I am no longer able to return to time mode. I have to wait for time out.

You are need to send it into tissot for a service. You cannot fix this problem on your own. There is a two year warranty for tissot. Hopefully you will be eligible.

T-touch dont display altimeter, meteo and thermo. How can i reset it ?

I have the same problem with my t touch one, the first model with round push button, after take it to a battery replacement and service, and ask a tissot representative store, I receive two answers and both says that I have to change the movement... means ... the machine, and if is under warranty will be free, is maybe 6 or more years old so no more warranty, sad but true, I let it be. I will not spend at least 400 USD. to do it, so, try to enjoy the rest of functions left and a nice looking watch.

Polar ft40 watch doesnt work. I have replaced the battery and nothing happens.

This heart rate monitor has a generic flaw with the sensor. The touch sensor fails after a few months of use. It is not a battery issue. Return to where you purchased it. Buy another brand. All of the drug stores carry this watch which has an abnormal return rate. The sensor fails after a few months while the watch function is fine. Seems like planned obsolescence.

My Casio Protrek PRG 120 triple sensor show an "open" message and I am no longer able to program the functions and including the alarm. Please tell me what I should do.

it's because the contact that sense whether the watch is opened or not is misaligned.
Just open the watch caseback, re-allign the gold contact on the case-back, and make sure it touches the spring in the other side of the watch.

The 'meteo' function doesn't work when I press the watch face.

This seems to ba a common problem. On mine both the Meteo and Altimeter stoped working. Apparently these watches have a fault with the water proofing and should not be worn in water!

"Tissot Touch" Touch screen failure

it all stems from the watch not actually being waterproof it's more water resistant than waterproof. The little indentations on the back that look like they are for a tool to unscrew it are actually holes i guess for the altimeter and meteo so it can sense pressure. Behind the back just behind the holes is a nylon gauze material and underneath this is a sensor slightly recessed and covered with some kind of waterproof substance. As far as i can see the problems lie here any water sweat or other foreign object than gets into this gauze will eventually will clog this gauze material which at first will affect the altimeter then the meteo. When the gauze has been clogged up severely i gets very dirty indeed which means when it gets wet it takes an age to dry out so if you wear it in the shower like i used to it will never dry out this causes the watch to malfunction quite severely. You can actually fix this problem yourself just get a very small flat screwdriver and lever the back off don't worry it's only a push fit and comes of easily you will see straight away a dirty damp smelly clogged up round piece of nylon gauze clean this up with a bit of WARM not boiling soapy water being careful not to disturb the pressure sensor and it's waterproof goo inside then dry it all and put it together
Hope this helps

Incorrect altitude changes

Here is the link to the user manual for this watch if you need it; http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/k2100/manual.pdf page 12 gives you all the contact details for lacrosse. I couldnt find the info online to be sure, but some of these watches do have a separate pressure sensor for altitude and barometric pressure, and sometimes the path to one could get blocked or it could become faulty. I would contact la crosse and find a dealer to get the watch serviced, you could probably do it yourself but you need to get replacement seals from them anyway (these are important). ask them to check if the sensor is clogged, it happens sometimes. Hope this helps :)
