Our GE dishwasher never did clean correctly. Then it died. WE bought a new dishwasher different brand . New dishwasher is cleaning great clean dishes now. GE Dishwashers sucks!

I had the same problem. After some investigation I found that the hose that brings water to the top arm was clogged. There was a piece of chipped china logged in there. I have no idea how it got there as it is at the top and facing the the back wall but once I managed to take it off it solved the problem.
you have set it to start after a one hour delay- just press the start delay button until it cycles through past 24h and you will get back to the immediate start mode...
