It sounds like your Haier deep freezer is having an issue with the compressor and cooling system. Here are a few things you can check:
Check the compressor: Make sure the compressor is running and not too hot to the touch. If the compressor is not running or is hot, it may be faulty and will need to be replaced.
Check the compressor's overload protector: The overload protector may have tripped, check to see if it is tripped and reset it if necessary.
Check the compressor's capacitors: They could be damaged and need replacing.
Check the evaporator fan motor: If the evaporator fan motor is not functioning properly, it could cause the freezer not to freeze.
Check the defrost system: If the defrost system is not working properly, the evaporator coils will frost over and the refrigeration will not work.
Check the thermostat: Ensure that the thermostat is set to the appropriate temperature. If it is set too low, the freezer will not freeze properly.
Check the power supply: Make sure the freezer is properly plugged in and that the outlet has power.
Check the clicking sound: If the clicking sound is coming from the compressor, it could be the compressor's relay switch, which is responsible for turning the compressor on and off. This could be the issue and will need to be replaced.
Please note that if a compressor is a sealed unit and you're not able to charge it, it's best to contact the manufacturer or a professional for further assistance.
Haier are a bad brand, the unit has cooling fin frost up and will not allow air to pass through the cooling plates, defrost the unit for 2 days with door open and restart, if all good after that, keep doing it, if not, its lost gas and needs the bin. Quality items deliver lengthy trouble free operation, sorry but I put Haier in the Daewoo class, Kelvinator or Westinghouse next time, its worth that little extra. Regards Russ
Could be a compressor or refrigerant charge problem. Check to see if the compressor is hot. If so is it running. If not and it is hot the compressor is the problem. If the compressor is cold it is in the power supply to the compressor. That would be the thermostat or defrost timer. If the compressor is running and it is not cooling it could be the refrigerant.
