No picture. Sound is OK on Philips DPTV345 model 51PW9303/17F

I would check the solder on the Vertical output IC as ofetn the soolder will crack and the CRts will shut down to prevent damageing the CRts when vertical drops out. If the solder looks good I would try replaceing the vertical IC very inexpensive and you can get the vertical IC from www.tvrepairworld.com

Convergence off

The convergence board is bad. If the convergence board were still good, then the convergence menu would allow you to adjust the crosshairs.

No picture, screen is dark, but audio and the system control is operational

This sounds like the vertical output IC has stopped working. If the vertical pulses are missing at the yokes then the picture shuts down to protect the CRT's from being burned by the intense thin white line through the center of the picture. I have seen many of those TDA vertical output IC's fail.

Dark spot on the top of the screen

May you should have a replacement for that, seems is has a factory damage on it!

No Picture

The convergence IC's could be loading down the SMPS. Or it could have shorted a componet in the supply. if your not trained in solid state electronics, please seek out a repair shop to assist you with this repair. Good Luck
