When i try to burn a dvd from my jvc hard drive to the share station i keep getting the post that the disc is non compatible. it will not let me go any futher. what is the problem. the dic is a jvc dvd-r. please help!
The Everio only accepts DVD-R discs, and the cheaper, the better. I burned a lot of coasters for my cats to chase when I tried using the 'name brand' discs. I buy cheap off-brand discs and have no problems.

I am also having the same exact problem. I even went to the store and purchased several different manufactures (recomended by jvc) on the sheet that came with the burner. It is still staying the same thing or every once in a while it will state there is a formatting problem. It then tells me to "stop" and will not let me go any further. I think that I am just going to return it and keep burning the dvds' on my laptop. (problem free) just a little slow. I have had real good luck with jvc products in the past....but this time I am surely disapointed in their product. Someone suggested using 4x speed dvd's, but on the dvd packages that I purchased it doesn't show anything but 1x16.....I am asuming that would be the speed.....someone please help us!!!
