Hola! I hope someone can help me, I'm losing my mind here. I have taken several pics lately with this camera, which has been working wonderfully for a couple years now. I'll take a pic and it takes a realllllly long time to write it to the card. Now, I can review the pics on screen, but when I remove the card and put it into a media reader, the card shows up as empty.Keep in mind, this is happening with 2 seperate media cards. I have a 3rd card which I'm using and it seems to be working on, takes pics normally and they show up when the card is in a media reader. Is this most likely a media problem (with 2 cards) or is my camera ready for the great beyond? Thanks a bunch for anyone's help! Jim
If you can review the photos on the card while it is still in the camera (and by review, I mean go back and forth between multiple photos on the card), then there are two possibilities: 1. The photos really are on the card, and your computer can't read the card. 2. The photos really AREN'T on the card, and are perhaps in internal memory on the camera instead. Some thoughts for things to try: 1. Put the card in the camera, take a few photos, make sure you can review them all on the camera. Take the card out. NOW try reviewing photos on the camera with NO card in. What happens? 2. Try putting the card in your card reader in your computer. Copy a file (any file, a word document, anything) from your hard drive onto the card. Is it there? Can you copy the file back off the card to somewhere else? It sounds like the camera is fine, and the problem is with the card or the media reader.

My photos don't show up on my computer at all or on a kodak machine at the store.. It is showing in the camera with 2 different cards but, says no card when I tried reviewing with the card out. I tried reformatting the cards and taking pictures again but, nothing works. I called Olympus but they only said try cleaning the card and they don't repair this model any more. Thanks for any help.
