Polaroid i733 always double flashes

I have a Polarioid i733 that always seems to do a double flash. I have changed the flash mode to each flash setting, and each active flash setting always does a flash followed by a second flash (timing may be different but they all behave like I would expect the red-eye setting to do). The only flash mode that does not do that is when I turn the flash off completely. Is that just the expected behavior of this model, or is there anything I can do about it? Thanks

I have a polaroid i733 digital camera when i go to turn it on a green light...

My Nikon D70 quit working and would only flash a green light. I contacted Nikon and they fixed it, no charge. I was very happy with Nikon for the free repair! If you have this problem, go to the Nikon website and do a search for flashing green light. They cover this problem as a defect and did not ask for any proof of purchase or anything. Very smooth and easy. Thank you Nikon!!!

How do you turn the flash on

Using the Flash
The flash is designed to function automatically when lighting conditions permit the use of flash.
The camera has 3 flash modes: Off, Auto , and Always On. You can take an image using
a desired flash mode to suit your circumstances. The flash's effective range is
35.4” ~ 59.1”(0.9m~1.5m) (in Normal mode).
The flash is disabled if the camera is set to Macro mode.
1. Press the Power button to turn the camera on.
2. Toggle until your desired flash mode appears on the LCD display.
3. Compose your scene and press the SHUTTER button
to capture your image.

Flash button is the one like an arrow pointing downwards. (not a straight arrow) Usually located beside Disp, OK, Menu.

Polaroid i733 card error

The i733 works with SD cards. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it won't work. You need to go with SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Flash

IS the flash in auto mode? You can manually turn off the flash in the menu, itll look like a lightning bolt with a slash through it. Flash will not operate in macro mode if available. no other firmware problems I can think of would stop firing the flash, might be hardware/defect.

This can sometimes be fixed if you remove the batteries over night and allow the camera to sit and discharge it should correct this problem. hope this helps.
