The TV is about 6 or 7 years old and I can't find the manual to help with the settings. I can access the settings but I can't make the clock disappear. The Model No. is AV-32120. Thank you for your time. Happy Holidays.

The menu screen does not function the display. Without the original remote or a universal remote that does not have a display button, try unplugging the television for at least 2 minutes or more and plug the tv back in. This should reset the tv display. If the universal remote has a display button, depress the display button until you get the desired display results. Reference the user guide below for the display button.

i have exactly the same problem - I've gone thru the menu but can't find ANY where to turn off the clock.
Hey I fixed it! Unplugging the TV for 3 minutes didn't help, and there's no display button on my digital cable remote. Well I knew I had removed it using the menu accessed directly by the buttons on the TV at least once before, and my son had done it once too. Maybe it is re-appearing because of some timer, I don't know. But I went back into the menu and using the "Set Clock" instructions, I changed the MODE from Auto to Manual, the scrolled down using the menu button and pressed the 'select' button on the line that said FINISH. Then I pressed the 'exit' button. The clock disappeared! I went back into the menu to double check the steps I had taken, and to my suprise the MODE had switched back to Auto. I left it like that. The clock is gone for now. I am content. Hope this is helpful to someone else.
